  1. isn’t this like her first show literally ever where she hasn’t played Blue Jeans? I’m gonna count that as a win. overall the setlist is fine. I think Jimmy shoulda been towards the beginning, Ocean Blvd should still be the closer. the song selection wasn’t bad, but the sequencing was questionable at best.
  2. thought I was the only one. the “last call, hey y’all…” part has a very sensual feel. gives me the same feeling as the Rockefeller part of candy necklace, sexy sad stripper vibes lol
  3. I really wanted to love this one, but I just… don’t. And it’s not about the production being lowkey, most of my favorite Lana songs are piano ballads. Feels the same as Life Lesson to me in the sense that they’re saying a whole lot of words that mean absolutely nothing. But at least Life Lesson had some interesting melodic choices, this doesn’t even have that working for it. Also the cut to a different vocal take at 2:05 is so shockingly messy that it completely pulled me out of it.
  4. I really thought we were finally gonna have a show without Born To Die… but she still found a way to get it in there
  5. Don’t really care what the sound of the record is because I’ll most likely love whatever she’s doing. Only thing I’m really hoping for is good quality vocals. She can use the Shure SM58 all she wants because it sounds fantastic on songs like Hollywood Bowl and Sweet Carolina. but whatever the fuck happened on Kintsugi and Fishtail? I’m gonna need her to never do that again
  6. Blue Banisters, Cinnamon Girl, Honeymoon I love the full, warm, ambient sound of Blue Banisters. The layered synths can elevate songs to much more than a simple piano ballad. Mix that with the sensual drums of Cinnamon and the slow, drawn out melody of Honeymoon, and you’ve got my dream Lana sound.
  7. I think she should just do Candy Necklace in place of Bartender. Candy Necklace is a highlight of the show and wasn’t even written on the set for last night, there’s no reason to remove it and still be doing bartender, even though it is one of my favorites.
  8. Did she just say “are you moshing out there” lmao there was part of the crowd that you could see moving even with this quality
  9. This set is giving me whiplash but I’m not mad at it
  10. Kinda sounds like Cherry might be next with this guitar… weird order if so
  11. I think it will be after candy necklace if she does it
  12. I never thought we’d see the day she skipped Cherry… TJF is definitely coming
  13. “I’ve got secrets I’ll take to grave, if I don’t I might die off” sounded like what she changed it to
  14. kyndalpitzer on IG, she ended but will come back when Lana starts
  15. Watching the livestream, they just set up a monitor onstage. Could mean she’s bringing out a guest, because she always uses in-ears.
  16. Oh she’s definitely gonna give some country vibes tonight isn’t she… I know it’s unpopular but I love it
  17. I would die. He’s one of the best songwriters alive right next to Lana, and their styles as of recently are so similar. I hope they connected yesterday.
  18. Wait did she really close with hope? There’s a pic of the setlist but I don’t buy it until video evidence
  19. Love that the backup singers are there, they really add so much, especially to the ballads where in the past she’s used a track. Jack is definitely going to play with her. My guess is Margaret, Hope, or Love song.
  20. I’m so excited to have videos with clear audio, and I’m excited for her that she gets to do her thing without people screaming between every sentence
  21. Also it wouldn’t surprise me at all if she brought out Jack to sing love song or hope. Not sure if he has a tour going on right now though. This might look a lot like the Hollywood bowl show with a bunch of special guests. speaking of Hollywood Bowl, let’s get rob out here to play that one. It quite literally sounds like a Joni Mitchell record
