I feel like Lana and her team like to post shit just to get us excited for no reason lmaoo like they know we're gunna go full delulu and cause hype

Poor Neil couldn't post a picture of his mother's birthday party without us reading something into it. Neil is well aware of this though.....A picture of a desert during the lasso era is begging for it.

I enjoyed the album, and I'm sure it'll grow on me, but it is very much the Taylor formula. Some highlights and great moments for sure and none of the songs were bad, but it all sounds predictable. I'm not saying she has to reinvent her sound with each record. I like Taylor and I don't mind when an artist hones in on a sound, but I still think it could sound a little fresher.

Not to bring it back to Lana (though this is LanaBoards) but she really is a perfect example of an artist with a signature sound that manages to constantly surprise without needing to reinvent herself. It's funny that people compare them so much but I think they are extremely different as artists, almost opposites. Taylor follows a structure, and Lana follows the flow.

    Exactly this.

Knowing how much lana likes to let her friends have their moment, i feel like she wouldn’t announce it the same day as Taylor’s album release. But she is a headliner for Coachella and is having her own moment so it’s not impossible

So true! Such a huge opportunity though, Taylor would totally give her blessing

I think if you have YouTube premium you can but other than that, I don't believe so. I've been contemplating getting it just so I can keep the vid since this keeps happening

Wait so are we really supposed to hate Courtney over this???:wtf2:

Not if you're passionate about her music, keep listening.

But i honestly think that's kind of her goal....I mean, she does an interview for a series celebrating women in music and uses it to take shots at Lana, Taylor and Beyonce..going as far as to suggest Lana should step away from music for 7 years. I think she wanted this reaction. I think she's that desperate for headlines.

  6. I love Lana's cover. It's not trying to make anyone forget John Denver, so i don't see how this simple cover could be so offensive to cause Courtney to think less of Lana's body of work/talent or suggest she give up making music for 7 years. Courtney has created some timeless music herself, but she has lost her mind.

Love has even soured on Lana Del Rey, whom she once called one of the only “two true musical geniuses” next to her late husband Kurt Cobain: “I haven’t liked Lana since she covered a John Denver song, and I think she should really take seven years off. Up until ‘Take Me Home Country Roads’ I thought she was great.”

I haven’t liked Courtney since she covered a Brittany song, and I think she should really take seven years off. Up until ‘Lucky’ I thought she was at least "Ok".

(sorry, moving my earlier attempt at a drag to this thread, so we can drag together)

Is there a download link for the concert?

Every youtube video got down, I really wish I could watch the show

If you google "lana del rey coachella sharemania" you'll find a couple links, but sharemania does make you sign up before you can download anything and I haven't got around to doing it -- it will keep trying to re-route you to ads, so the site is kind of a pain.
