I had to confess something. Idk how to put this in words. But there's something definitely lacking from most of her recent songs. Don't get me wrong, the lyrics are so profound and her voice is so clear. I adore the themes and stories behind each of these songs. These newer songs are OBJECTIVELY well made / written compared to lot of her older songs. But there's something off about them. I could speculate if it's the theme being realism that a lot of us can relate with, which I don't want to or how the older songs had so much of an escapism elements to them.

I'm glad that so many mainstream musicians are releasing their albums around the same time kinda overshadowed the leaks. I haven't had seen any conversation about the leaks out of LB. I just hope the whole album doesn't get the same treatment when it comes out.

Well said! I don't think she can get anymore authentic than who she is now as an artist. At least based on the spoiler lyrics I've read. The questionable lyrics might draw in some criticism but they're here to prove one thing and that is, she's not a manufactured, polished, image conscious popstar cause there's no filter, and I'm here for that! Women should be able to get away with such harmless lyrics when male musicians been spewing far worse shit solely for shock factor and get accolades in response.
