I think Billboard made a rule the past year or so that in order to have vinyl/CD/cassette sales count towards the overall sale total they have to also ship. Because certain artists were selling a ton of physical music mediums but not shipping them out for several months up to a year after the release date. That's why making sure they're getting sent out ASAP is so important to artists now. That's why miss Taylor Swift had all her vinyls and other physical mediums shipped out the day of release.

That box set was so fucking good I hope so too. Hopefully' we'll get a better idea of what it looks like soon. I imagine Lana's team will want to release the box set BEFORE the album date that way it counts towards day one sales

That's what I was thinking but I imagine that LDR village would want to sell them separately and in large quantities to maximize profits. That way people who don't want to commit to the price of a full box set had an option to buy them separately but who knows.

I feel like Lana wouldn't have said "March 24th, thanks." If it wasn't in reference to the album being delayed. It wouldn't make sense if she said thanks to her own merch release date
