I really think all her albums are so different I struggle to compare them, a different album for whatever mood I’m in! I love them all! BTD is probably my least streamed album now.. but then paradise I stream songs from regularly chemtrails is really chill and has no skips for me so I do listen to that one often!

I don’t want this to seem out of pocket to say.. as it’s making the assumption that she was using methamphetamines (which was heavily implied in some of her work).. but could 20 years be 20 years sober from that? The background of her picture looks similar to it under a microscope?

She said it in an interview that she wanted the album cover to look like the old style album covers which had multiple titles on or something (improvising sorry) and she told Neil that she wanted the album title to be that. The song titles have just been split out to what makes most sense

To be honest, when people use the term “banger” I always think of current chart music which to me is really flat and basic, but Lana did do songs which were really up beat and poppy on OB and I loved them! So, when she does it, I’m clearly not against it! I welcome whatever direction she wants to go in, but I definitely have a preference for the psychedelic sound, only because my music taste aside from Lana is stuck in the 70s haha!

I really do not want Disney vibes? But all those songs (with exception of once upon a dream) are the kind of direction I’d welcome plus anything in the vein of heroin or the jon batiste interlude, something floaty

I don’t want music that everyone can listen to if everybody likes it maybe it’s not that good

I haven’t always been that invested in who produced which songs, but looking back at ocean blvd and blue banisters it becomes clear that it is the songs produced by Erickson which tend to be my least favourite.. with exception of let the light in, like you said

Honestly I’m unsure why Jack gets so much hate, I think NFR is still her best album and to be honest chemtrails always ends up being one of my top listened to albums, I just love the cohesion of both those records too, I love listening to them from start to finish I love ocean blvd too, but there are some songs which I just haven’t learned to love like her other songs, which is sweet and the grants mainly, they’re nice but I think just a little boring
