I agree people maybe reading too much in to the remix winning a Grammy etc.. though if it’s purposeful I think it’s genius in its pettiness! but either way, I find summertime sadness a weird song choice to celebrate Taylor’s win for her Grammy.. you’d think she’d choose a midnights song/keep the original audio.. to be supportive of a friend If she was insistent on using her own song, she could’ve used living legend.. but she already shared that fan edit using that song for herself

I’m definitely projecting when I comment about the whole Grammy situation, because I was always the “social butterfly” who was associated with many but not truly friends.. a little bit of an awkward weirdo.. and the super popular girl who knows she’s got it all being oooooverly nice feels triggering.. I don’t feel like I could ever trust like they’re overly nice to keep up appearances but don’t genuinely feel that way and it’s patronising

I’ve thought about this before.. I’m in the UK so we don’t have a problem with gun crime.. and I think everybody would think American would be a better place without guns.. but if I was living there and everybody else had one.. I’d probably feel safer if I had one too
