    Almost two years have passed now and I think Better Mistakes would've been her magnum opus if she chose a better tracklist. Tons of outtakes are better than half the album and if combined, it would've been a very solid record.

    10 Minutes, Alien, I Wish I Was My Boyfriend, Money Don't Love Me and H2O were right there, yet she chose On the Go, Amore, Die for a Man...

    Anyways, shoutout to I Don't Wanna Grow Up and the scrapped 2015 album. Now THAT and AYF I was her peak.

    Amore demo isnt as bad… Also ur missing Heaven Sent and Distract Me or Saddest Lullaby! The rest, i agree with u

    In production terms I have no big issues (yeah some are bland, mostly in L+F) but she needs a second, third and fourth opinion on the lyrics (not the message, just the way the message is being worded out).

    Also, I wonder if she ever checks out this forums or even gives her fans feedback a chance… cause from L+F to ADML It has been a little bit of improvement (at least sonically) but lyrically she stays a mess

    The track has Dua written all over it, specially in the chorus! Its a cool funky song in my opinion but don’t know how exactly fits the sound of the album 

     

    either way, so happy hearing from Mz Tuva Lu… she allways delivers Bops! Also that bridge… wish It was a little longer cause she served :understand:

    They are good but… I mean, Taste Of My Own fits the theme of the album perfectly, with the summer like production and the lyrics are original and pretty much very Miley 

     

    Victoria and Naked are already really old and overplayed… they also are songs she recorded with the previous label so I doubt It 

     

    I understand the decision of scrapping Win Some, Lose Some since production Wise Its too similar to Teeth by 5SOS (Also produced by Andrew Watt)…

    I know… the leaks also havent been my cup of tea. The only ones I revisit are My Body and Ms Belladonna… hope she at least scraps RH and Tommy instead of Spend the Night, they’re bad…

     

    Still have faith in her, she hasnt wronged us still after S1 and that serve of TP

    Okay so I have listened to the album, and It has Its good points yet nothing revolucionary. I wasnt expecting that from Ava anyways, not in a bad way, she just makes big productions and pop music, without being pretencious. The thing is… other artist are like that (for example Bonnie Mckee or Katy Perry) yet you can tell they have a signature way of songwritting… Ava’s music lacks any king of personality (you can hear Bonnie Mckee in Naked or MNK in Ghost) and that makes her unrecognisable and bland… 
     

    I don’t hate her, she definetly has the looks and vocals to hold stage presence and some of her songs are catchy as hell, she still has to find something unique to her, yet she already has 2 albums… I Don’t know, feels like she has been trying to replicate Sweet But Psycho And I think thats holding her from going forward. If she stepped out of that It would be more interesting (Salt was promising), maybe find another songwritting team or choose different demos, not always the same. Some artists dont write their own stuff yet you can recognize them like Christina, Britney, Miley, Selena,… Even in the image, the hair thing and all feels forced, same as Christina in the benning when she was being pushed by her label. Waiting for Ava to have more freedom maybe? I Don’t know if thats the case…
     

    The album is not bad by any means if you just wanna have something to bop to, I mostly listen to It in the gym but seems unidimensional (All songs sound alike with same estructure and tempo). For me the instant bangers are Ghost, In the Dark and Dancings Done. Weapons is the worst for me, cringey lyrics and awful start. I think the tracklist is a little too long for not having that much variety, I would cut it down to 11-12 songs maybe and It would be much better… but thats just my opinion.
     

    Don’t know yet if I like It more or less than Heaven & Hell still… the overuse of samples there throws me off, but sometimes is done Well like in My Brain & My Heart… Rumours, Salt And Naked are Great too. I despise So Am I though… ughh cant get over that

    I do like purge the poison’s production and everything but the verses (I wish she kept it from mother nature’s perspective), but it feels like she’s listening things off to check boxes which feels disingenuous (and I’ve already said about her going to that hotel in man’s world) vs savages where it felt like she was actually touched by these things

    You are right, Sex Yeah And Savages sound more organic while her recent songs sound forced, Its like she woke up one day and said “How many political messages can I fit into this 3 minute song and somehow make It akwardly rhyme” just to be seen as woke 

     

    Also, even though Purge The Poison is not the worst song in ADIAML by far, the beat is too fast for my taste, sounds like Its been nightcored or something, maybe just my impression

    I thought by now she would have something anounced at least… seems like her opening fir Tove Lo is a missed opportunity 

     

    Im really excited for anything she puts out, although i wont lie, im not the biggest fan of her purely rap sings like Self Destruct or Venom (other I like, like Dog House)

    As per usual, I appreciate her effort into the costumes and ornaments, and it's great she puts a mv out (looking at you, Sky Ferreira) but I think this is a little... lazy? At least herself seems bored in the visual.

    She was marketing this as the Army of Love sequel, where is at least a reminiscent of that energy? Considering AOL is probably her best song ever, I think the bar was too high - or at least 21CK doesn't really live up to the hype she built. And the video is no different. But I'm glad it's out and I really hope it works for her.

    Ngl it gives me the same uninspired vibes as the song. Still rooting for her as an artist though - I'm saving my hopes for any potential follow up singles/album but for now is a no for me :toofunny:

    I also get the budget thing, but this video lacks change of scenarios and outfits to my taste, is the same place over and over again… I Don’t know…

     

    the song isnt groundbreaking either, some of her unreleased kick ass so Im a little disappointed cause I know she can do better

    I do think her next albums will be better though, L+F was pushed out before she was ready like we've discussed and ADIAML was likely pushed out asap to get out of her contract, so just having that pressure off her will be better.

    maybe she can just release standalone songs on her own schedule, ADIAML has some good songs but as an album it's weird af thematically, half political, half about jack, then VFT and the title track just two bops doing their own thing

    If Its anything like Venus Fly Trap im in, for me the best of the bunch

    MARINA makes her much harder in to find in search results, if she had a unique name like Beyonce or Adele then it would be fine but 'marina' is also a word. it also means her website is marinaofficial.co.uk, if you go to marinaofficial.com it's a different artist called marina:rip: I cannot see why a label would suggest 'MARINA' over 'Marina Diamandis'

    I agree with you, sometimes artists are the ones to blame for their… CHOICES lets say… :flop:

    Am I the only one who thinks Dog Days Are Over is overplayed and overrated? I mean Lungs has better sounding songs like Cosmic Love, Blinging, Rabbit Heart or even Drumming Song 

     

    Her first 3 albums remain untouchable… I couldnt get into High As Hope But is not bad at all… Its just that after HB, HB, HB It felt short in my opinion… that was a moment. Ceremonials is really atmospheric and No Light, No Light continues to be one of my favourites from her. Love her witchy style and vibe

     

    the last album is nice also, It has strong songs like Daffodil or My Love, still replaying those
