idk i wrote some story to blue banisters for fun lol I sat alone in my quiet apartment, and my mind wandered back to the time I visited Oklahoma with Jenny. She had taken me around and introduced me to her friends, and we had a great time sitting by the pool, drinking beer, and talking about men, legacies, and happiness. Looking out of the window, I saw the sky turning a dark shade of red, and I remembered the Santa Clarita Fires that had devastated the area years ago. A sense of fear crept over me, and I wished for rain to come and wash away the dryness. I had a hole in my heart that no one could seem to fill. I had loved so many women, all of whom tried their best to heal me, but nothing seemed to work. There were two men in my life, one from the past and one from the present, but neither of them could fill the void. Every May, my sisters would come to visit me. We would spend the day painting my banisters green and grey, a tradition that had been passed down through generations. It was a day filled with laughter and love, and I always looked forward to it. I loved how the changing of the seasons brought my family together. As I sat there, lost in thought, I realized that life was full of ups and downs, just like the changing of the seasons. I knew that my sisters would always be there for me, and that gave me comfort. Looking out of the window again, I saw that the sky had cleared up, and the sun was shining. I smiled to myself and went to make a cup of tea, feeling grateful for the memories and the people in my life.

I wrote a short paper for my media course: Lana Del Rey's "Ultraviolence" from her 2014 album has sparked a great deal of debate and criticism in recent years. Many people have accused the title track of romanticizing abuse and toxic relationships. However, as a music critic and a person with common sense, I strongly disagree with these accusations and believe that Lana Del Rey is one of the most talented and insightful songwriters of our time. It's essential to understand the background behind "Ultraviolence." The song is a ballad that delves into the darker side of love and desire. Its lyrics depict a toxic relationship, but instead of celebrating it, they serve as a cautionary tale. They highlight the complexities and pain of love, warning listeners about the risks of unhealthy relationships. One of the most remarkable things about "Ultraviolence" is its musicality. Lana's haunting voice and atmospheric production create a spellbinding mood that's both captivating and ominous. The melody is straightforward but powerful, drawing the listener in and heightening the emotional impact of the lyrics. The result is a mesmerizing listening experience that's unique in contemporary music. Additionally, Lana's song writing skills are on full display in "Ultraviolence." Her lyrics are carefully crafted to convey a specific message, and they succeed in doing so in a way that's both relatable and universal. She sings about a toxic relationship with raw honesty, capturing the confusion and pain that often accompany such relationships. It's worth mentioning that the controversy surrounding "Ultraviolence" is part of a broader cultural conversation about the role of women in popular music. Some people have suggested that Lana's image and music are intentionally provocative, and that the controversy surrounding her work is an attempt to silence a strong female voice. This is a flawed perspective, and it fails to recognize the vital message that Lana is trying to communicate through her music. In conclusion, "Ultraviolence" is a powerful and thought-provoking song that deserves to be recognized for its musical and lyrical brilliance. The allegations that it romanticizes abuse and toxic relationships are misguided, and they overlook the context and significance of the lyrics. "Ultraviolence" is a commentary on the complexities and dangers of love, and it showcases Lana's talents as a singer and songwriter.
