The missing instruments, or slightly longer pauses, one less cymbal crash, one less guitar chord, makes "less is better".. I never liked listening to singers, whom have a need to fill every mini second of space in a song with their voice..

OK, just listened again, and again to TLY, and I have to say, its a sad, slow, but a beautiful song. I love it. I really do. Its probably the best of these 3 we have heard, and better than alot of her previous songs from unreleased stuff. it kinda reminds me of Cruel world abit, as well, as other time period artists song, can't put my finger on it.. but excellent job Lana. i knew this one would grow fast on me..could tell right away, just needed a bit more time.. Yet, so much hate on the internet from so many people on this song and HBTB to.. Oh well, we like what we like. And all these people saying she looks like Caitlyn Jenner,, seriously? people are demented. Lana may not be a beauty queen, but she sure as fuck doesn't look like that. ( I mean i like Caitylin and respect her, but transgender Lana? i think not.) Should stop looking at stuff on the internet. People are strange. I also like HBTB alot more now than a week ago too.. both great songs IMHO (for me anyway), and very different from one another super cool vibe, and love them. Not caring for HM yet tho.. don't think will grow on me.. not there for that one..

Anyone have an idea how HM presales are doing? Anybody wish to venture a opinion on how HM will do in this current music climate? Probably need to wait another few weeks to see how things unfold..

in reference to comments above..curious tho- but i really wonder how many lana stans are gay. (male or female).. there must be tons of straight people that stan as well? i dont get the connection, its not like lady gaga is similar to LDR..? just curious tho.. not that its important, and i could care less really, but its interesting to see.. i figure from shows anyway, most of lanas fans are younger girls..

@, agree with quite a bit of your posts above, however my opinion is, she is not terrified of performing as much as in the past, (maybe still alot tho..),but she just doesnt want to do it moreso..thats the feeling i get..

I have mixed feeling towards songs being released before the album comes out here in a few weeks.. It takes away some of the excitement for me, to listen to the full album for the first time, after hearing 3 songs already. I think it would be better for an artist to maybe release one lead single, and then straight to album release. more suspence and intense excitement and intrigue that way.. but then, can't stop myself from listening to leaks..lol.. the power of persuasion, even though we think doesn't effect some of us, still is there in the background. many people saying their opinions on the new songs (which is perfectly fine to do so), does have some effects on others. I agree with many posts on here. I played all my old Lana favs and listening on a great high power music system, and then listening to the 3 new songs. Quite a difference. The 3 new ones, have yet to effect me the way songs in the past have of hers. I hope the rest of this album will have some great songs. otherwise, waiting for the next album after.. maybe i can do with her.. these new songs are growing on me more, so gonna keep playing them.. we'll see..

Well, hmmmmmmmm, and hmmmmmmm again.. i'm going to have to keep thinking and listening awhile to see if i care much for this song.. her voice sounds beautiful as always, but don't know about the overall song.. parts i thought were great and melodic, also something missing.. i think it come down to this; Once you are number 1 (at anything), or the best, it is a very high, a very high bar that has been set. its soo sooo hard to beat the highest of the highs.. like drugs you know? same deal.. chasing the dragon i beleieve they used to say.. anyway.. we'll see.. maybe it will grow on me.. thats happened before.. like someone above posted, its 3 different sounds from this album so far, with this being like an UV track mixed with HM, and HBTB being like a unreleased song mixed with BTD a little.. love her voice tho..

Elton ? You're joking right? funny you mentioned him, I just watched a 1 hour Ed Sheeran concert with Elton dueting with him for one of eltons songs.. Elton still trying to get to the 240,000 fans (3 nights) sold out at wembley stadium. I was blown away Ed Sheeran can draw crowds that massive. He is huge as fuck right now. I like alot of his music, and he seems like a cool dude too. But had to laugh when Elton John announced, he has to pass the torch to Ed.

Was a bit surpised to see such a huge mistake.. but for me, its more important that i like the song she makes, then any chart position she gets.. although i understand chart numbers as an artist of course are desirable.. at the end of the day.. i'd rather love the song, and it charts where it charts, then her creating a song, i don't really like, and that one getting the high chart.. like Lana said in the past..(about her music), 'its for me, its all for me".. i kinda feel the same way.. I like HBTB, not as much as other songs, but its good. the video is great IMO.. we still have a a full album of songs coming shortly, might be some great gems in there.. very excited to hear it..

I just had a thought, I would love (This might be a unpopular opinion), but would absolutely love to hear Hollywood recorded on this album, perhaps with a few instrument changes to the beat/chorus.. but the same song all in all.. .. ..for me it would fit the vibe of HBTB and HM

I just watched the video, and I must say, I loved it. I love the beach and Lana's house. (I wonder if she will move in there one day.. looks like its just a vacant home for now..) I love the way it starts with the helicopter view coming in over the beautiful ocean waves, the sounds in the background, and then Lana on the deck.. i loved the way she runs around and walks around from room to room, then out down onto the beach area.. (or rocks i guess..) and then the blowing up of the chopper made me laugh out loud.. amazing and beautifully done vid. so much better, than the average video's coming out from other artists these days.. but to each their own. I would love to live in that house once in awhile with Lana, and run out to the beach, and stuff.. F**** Me...I'm dreaming hard.. real hard..

This was a very nice interview to listen to. She sounded good and comfortable talking. And cute. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Zane a bit anoying tho.. also interesting what she said about the book james is writing.. side note- she looks happy with Frans, like soo happy in the latest photos posted today.. they are having a nice vacation..
