If I remember correctly there is a gap between Nymphology and the rap and almost no gap between the rap and Evil, but I believe the rap IS part of Track 11.

As messy as it has been at times, I enjoyed this pre release Waiting for eggs, live performances that we had to click a million links to find. I’ll never forget the joy of hearing her start singing Tunnel Vision live Lyrics, the trauma of the track list reveal. The listening party was fun, despite unhinged fans. We got a (good) single, a music video. And it’s only been a month since it was announced!

This is all really true, I was feeling the same way about how a lot of these songs sound very long, and like you said not in a good way. On the same note, I wish TV and FS were longer. TV only has two verses and two choruses, and then an inflated run time with two outros. I never cared much for the original outro, though they have improved it some. I would have much preferred another verse and chorus, and one outro.

I tried to do this once with Taylor’s store (which I think it’s the same company for merch) and they told me no. I had one item in the order that was pushing the entire thing back two months, so I ended up cancelling that item so I’d get the rest sooner (the item was available to repurchase separately but i decided not to rebuy it).

I kinda think she might have blown her chance to appeal to the masses with this album. Death did really well and brought a lot of eyes on her work, but I think people are going to be disappointed with the album overall. Predictions: Death, Void, Tunnel Vision, Faerie Soiree, and Evil will be widely liked. Moon Cycle, Nymphology, Spider Web, and to some degree The Contortionist will be polarizing and most people will not like them. The rest of the tracks are just sort of unremarkable, non offensive (unless you figure out the double meaning of Light Shower).

Right. I pulled it out of the pocket with disc C/D and I thought it was just a tiny bit stuck and didn’t expect that. Drove an hour each way to get it too. I might order another one online and send this one back in it’s place.

mine stuck to the inner sleeve and ripped a chunk off of the black area. So the inner sleeve and the poster are messed up.

I’d love for someone to spill on what the process was with these new vs old songs once this whole thing and the deluxe is over and done with. She included 2 of the roughly 5 generally well liked songs, one middle of the road one, and one that no one liked. I think the whole thing is a product of too much time and too much overthinking when she had a good concept initially, and in the grand scheme of things, not that many people heard those songs anyway. I was at three Targets today and only looked at CDs at one but I didn’t see it.
