Yeah, I could see that happening. I mean, before Starfucker dropped, sometimes she would call it "S3" even though she'd reference it as "my second album" and still clarified "the mixtape" as such. While I can agree that Troubled Paradise is "all over the place" I think its easily justified with its Hell vs Heaven theme. It seems annoying for both her and fans side fighting the specifics of the album numbering and what is considered what. Like she may call it a mixtape but its an extremely cohesive 14-track body of work that had music videos, CD, vinyl, and merch release. Thats an album to me even if she didn't necessarily have full creative control over the whole tracklist.

Please Cathy give us Ghhhosttt on Mixtape 2!!! The intro and beat on the chorus is sick it just needs built upon with more bridge and production changes a.... third time. In all seriousness, after the wait between Troubled Paradise and Starfucker I cant believe shes already dropping clues for the next 'era' whatever that may be. I doubted her at the beginning of Starfucker era that she could not pull it off and she absolutely proved everyone wrong so I trust her. Idk I'd feel bad though if I just dropped a fantastic album and then everyone in my twitter replies was like "omg you're going back to the mixtape!" I'm just hoping that whatever it is, rather it be reproduction of previous tracks, a deluxe version, or a "sequel" album, that its with that same artistic development as Starfucker and not because she feels like she needs to cave in to the demands of going back to the mixtape look / sound.

I was hyped for this album but the rollout really killed it for me. 24 tracks is so unnecessary. The whole rollout felt rushed, unplanned, unorganized, lazy, you name it. There seems to be no artistic vision behind the album and the tracklist is just a mess. No cohesion its just all over the place. The album is supposed to be a sequel to an iconic album that has a very specific aesthetic and sonic atmosphere but this absolutely is not a sequel to that. At that point, it just feels like its called Pink Friday 2 out of sales desperation which makes me just dislike the album even more. Nicki is literally legend status. An icon. This whole thing is just unacceptable and stuff that even rookies are not doing with their rollouts. People who are independent making songs in their bedroom on their laptop aren't doing this. The album needed the tracks count cut in half and way more time to develop its own individual lane from Nicki's other work. There are some really good songs on this album but as far as an album as a whole goes this is just tragic.

She posted a pic at a recording studio… with all the recent hints of returning to the mixtape she also tweeted again about it with images from the original cd booklet / lyrics. it’s crazy to think she’s already back to recording SOMETHING…

every. single. photoshoot. she has done this era, is like on the tier of a full album cover photoshoot. like every single one shes done could have been as the starfucker booklet photos or, whatever. its crazy just how many photoshoots shes secured for this era and how every single one of them is top notch.

Cathy if you're reading this we love you and we want the whole next album to be LIKE JAMES DEAN!!!!!!!!!

And theres now been multiple interactions and confirmations between her and Ayesha that they would want to work with each other again. I wonder what that would even entail. Rerecording the previous songs? Shes talked about hating how they are mastered. Or just adding new songs like a Deluxe or making a mixtape part 2 entirely with all new tracks in the same vibe. Idk maybe I'm just reading too much into tweets but why that pic of all things for that tweet... (also... lol at the people never seeing this photo before so they think its new and that this is confirming something new with the mixtape...)

Yeah the funniest part about hearing James Dean live is you couldnt even really hear what the song was like because bitch was SCREAMING it. it was kind of iconic but like- i have no idea what that song sounds like lmao so when it drops itll be like its new.

yeah idk why anyone would think its scrapped... she was saying every stop of the tour the deluxe was coming with James Dean. unless she flat out says it on twitter just wait for the announcement.

Its either going to be surprise dropped or she is going to drop the songs one at a time over a wider range of time to keep the hype going longer is my guess. But then again I'm like always wrong lmao. Wasn't the Europe leg of the tour announced pretty recently? If there IS a delay maybe she wants to wait for that to be done.

The paper magazine photoshoot is INCREDIBLE! I literally thought this when I heard the song. If Dua Lipa or someone put this song out, it would hit number one. Its insane how good the song is. I'm so tired of Cathy not getting the credit she deserves!!!

STREAM MAKEUP!! The mastered instrumental is so atmospheric?? On headphones one of the drums sounds *behind you* its crazy! Lolo's part is... cute. But cute next to gorgeous, gorgeous is going to devour cute. I think her vocals sound really good in support / backup like in the end of the track, it sounds really good. And the fucking outro is CRAZY!!!

This ended up being way funnier / cuter than I expected.

During the Q&A session with the VIPs at the show I went to, someone asked her about Ayesha again. Last year she was notably uncomfortable by the question about Ayesha (honestly I think this was the same person asking both years!) But this time she had a completely different reaction, she was very happy to talk about Ayesha being back and she said she would be open to doing music with her again. She even said: "Now I don't have to dodge questions about her when she gets brought up" or something along those lines. Someone also asked her about All I want for XXXmas. She said she has no idea why it was taken down or how to get it put back up. She also mentioned she wants to at some point release a Christmas EP but that it definitely wouldn't be this year and hasn't been started at all. Also she ate here:

I saw her and got the meet and greet and also met Bayli at her merch booth after the show. It was so much more elevated than her Troubled Paradise tour. The set, outfits, everything. She had some really great vocal runs in a lotttt of songs! My friend who doesn’t listen to her as much, after the show was like “I was not expecting all of that at all!”

The way everyone is so hostile about their favorite leak tracks is sooo funny to meeee. I like Tommy but I'm just like neutral to it being on the deluxe. I'm more excited about the possibility of Make Up I know its not like some high-art song or anything its basic but its fun leave me alone. Rest in peace My Replacement and Heartbeat Away. James Dean being on it and never leaked before and it sounding so incredible its like Self Destruct's cunty sister in the best way I just love it and cant wait to hear it live in just a few days. I want the next album to be very James Dean, Machine, Electrona vibes.

I have a feeling Starfucker is not real. Apparently she said there’s 3 tracks for the deluxe. Tommy has a finished mastered version that she has performed before. Make Up rumored to have a feature now. And James Dean is confirmed. For a concept album like this if there was a title track it would have already been on the standard release or honestly it would have been made in the sessions that would have leaked by now. So it doesn’t make sense to me for it to show up on a deluxe now.
