When listening to the deluxe tracks last night I was like "these sound like music from her different eras" and now finally having watched the short film it really all does make sense. But damn every song really was a hit she was not wrong to say every song had its purpose on the deluxe it wasn't just going to be thrown aways.

Dandelion and Past Life are SOOO GOOOD and her voice sounds incredible on every track. Only thing I didn't like is how the extended intro is just literally pasted onto the very end of the original intro with no transition whatsoever. Like what in audacity garage band is going on with that-

I was thinking this too. Shes literally been around Azalea before and done this song and dance already. This got way more people talking about her right before her new album is supposed to come out. Like all the pop twitter accounts posted about it. And if in fact Azalea did manage to stay on her anti-psychotics long enough to actually submit a few lines for a song then its kind of a win-win because her remaining stans will stream it regardless and it can be thrown out there as a single remix feature. We know at least Slayyyter did in fact send her some amount of song(s) for her to even be able to drag the album like that lmao.

the snippet sounds a lot better than her last few..... moments. im allowing myself to be optimistic about her again. dont let me down kim.

My friend also said this so we googled the production credits and Andrew Watt is on almost every song of Mayhem and Plastic Hearts, and also White Mercedes by Charli XCX which is kind of offtopic but interesting to me as his only Charli credit and has the same melody as Blade of Grass.

can somebody gayer and more plugged in explain to me why shygirl includes/seperates her stage name with "Club Shy" now is it like "Shygirl" is supposed to be a different sound less focused on club music and so this is like a way of saying club shy / room 2 etc. is not part of the "shygirl canon", if you will? Has she ever specifically said anything about this?

Initial thoughts is I like about half the tracks. So about the same as I did with Chromatica. Its one of those situations, like Chromatica as well, where the visuals painted a picture in my mind that we were getting an extreme dance dark-synth album front to back. It didn't really do that in either case and I'm disappointed now both times. It is what it is. Gaga is grown and wants to experiment now with various sounds especially past ones. Its just not for me but that doesn't make it a bad album. People who love........ throwback 70s mid-tempo disco, might like this one!

People are saying Taylor is in the backing vocals or in the writing credits but the source is.... ambiguous. It really sounds like her backing vocals are in it, unironically. And the structure is exactly like her songs.

I know she said it wasnt impossible she'd retool this song and/or put it on the next album so I hope that isn't the case and this leaked from her next album. I can definitely see now why it wasn't included on Troubled Paradise tracklist despite loving it personally.

I trust her vision after being proven so wrong from my initial impressions of Starfucker's leaks. I am really curious to see how she will go about the visuals / overall presentation of not just the album but of herself during this new 'era'. She has had to navigate the "gay pop queen" space for quite a while for better and for worse. I think some of this music will clash with that and some of the more mainstream-focused pop listeners that like some of the songs from her previous albums.

Lighting was absolutely incredible live. It was very crazy going to Crash tour then like a year or so later going to Sweat tour. Went from a bar stage type concert with a few hundred people to a completely sold out arena. I'll definitely always remember how awesome it was to see Charli at that more intimate venue doing those high energy songs from Crash.

I still dont understand "scrobbles" and "last fm" like what do yall even mean unreleased songs they were working on got ran through some random website and leaked the track titles to like her entire unreleased discography online lol like i just dont get it or how it happened at all!

The fact that Nintendo World song was never actually released..... like god its like she purposefully makes her coolest shit never come out on purpose.

Visuals / outfits / makeup, it was all fantastic. She really nailed it. It elevated the song for me. The horror themes juxtaposed with the very normal suburban setting where no one around her seemed to be paying any attention to the crazy shit that was going on... Created such a good unsettling and helpless energy.

No because Grimes just tried to get too weird with it... although i will say the album would have shifted towards my personal tastes more if it had a more dark-synth vibe in some of the tracks but the album accomplishes what it set out to do the way it is.
