Saw her at a Pride and she said it was her first time being the headliner of a festival it was such a cool moment. I bought the tickets months before because Slayyyter was announced to also be there and I was like "oh, I dont know these other people but I've seen Chappell Roan's name before, I'll look up her music before Pride so I know some songs" then she EXPLODED into a sensation in the meantime and it was so exciting to see her live at that point.

why else would they put kesha's name on the brat truck? like there is genuinely no reason why that would ever happen on charli's part unless kesha was involved. If anything this confirms that the remix album is waiting for kesha's comeback release on july 4th before dropping. And I do hope that the brat attention helps kesha's comeback because she certainly deserves it more than Katy.

Charli has literally specifically, intentionally hinted at the song involving Taylor already. No it isn't as direct or completely about her like as Girl, so confusing, but it isn't non existent. I cant imagine it sounding any worse than the yung lean and robyn remix of 360. Like lets chill out defending the "art" here. Do I think it would ever happen? No, I highly doubt it. But it would definitely be a monolithic moment for the album for better and worse to watch go down and tbh just seeing this initial reaction being so negative makes me hope it happens more at this point just to piss yall off. That in itself is very "brat".

sympathy is a knife ft taylor seems so alternate dimension, the fact that there are hints towards it not being a 0% chance is kind of crazy. i cant even imagine what taylor would sound like on that song. she certainly wouldnt be able to match charli's energy in the song vocally. she'd almost have to do spoken word background vocals like some kind of haunting presence on the track. wait that could be cool actually...

Its undeniable objectively that it deserves some sort of nomination. These award shows are so moneyhungry though and all about connections and label bribery.... which sucks. As much as I respect Billie's individuality and artistry it annoys me how she just sweeps award season constantly. On top of that we have Beyonce and Jay Z publicly pushing them about her "deserving" an AOTY, the possibility of Ariana's label pushing for her to win while focus is still on Wicked and a possible upcoming sequel album / deluxe, and Taylor just.... being Taylor. Plus depending on how LG7 releases, Gaga could also be in the equation...

I'm honestly just baffled at this point like Billboard and the other charts hasnt stepped in and stopped this from over inflating chart points. Its one thing if zombie stans want to try to force a number one for another week themselves by buying the albums again or whatever, but the absolute desperation and insane amount of greed Taylor continues to exhibit..... for what? To just make a tweet that says yay we got number one again another week and move on to the next 56 albums coming out next week? I've just never seen a single artist stoop to such baffling, pathetic, calculated lows to intentionally exploit not only her fans but the entire industry inside and out just to break arbitrary records. And how does seemingly no one in the mainstream public / media see right through her shit and call it out for what it is? Its just egregious. When does the UK chart week end? I dont know how that chart works. I'd be interested to see if Charli / her team tries to respond with something to secure the number 1 or if in true brat fashion she just doesnt give a shit about the chart placement and will just end up saying something bitchy about it later on lol.

Spring Breakers was the one song I wanted to be on the tracklist and now its on the deluxe and it feels so underwhelming. I think after the boiler room and all the club recordings of it with insane bass the official audio just feels so boring by comparison lol. Now where is Make U Mine...

Usually deluxe tracks are kinda the throwaways but these are better than a lot of the standard tracks. thats crazy.

she was talking about her jesus tattoo on the trisha podcast like it was some huge deal and i wondered why and now i see why lol what a random moment. the interview is definitely interesting but whoever wrote the article was on drugs because theres so many typos and mistakes on who is saying what!

Video was cute but I felt the execution was lacking for what the concept was. her SNL performance was a bit too “effortless” if you asked me. It felt like she went lazier than what was needed, i got kind of bored. I know she “referenced” the original boy is mine at the end but i dont care tbh i wanted the big runs and high notes live. :/ all in all kind of disappointed with this single rollout.

Best birthday present ever ate down from start to finish. slow songs are like short interludes of introspection that show the true colors behind the party girl facade and shows the depth and humanity within people who may seem vapid on the outside like she just gets it.
