I honestly don't think theres so much mystery to Kim as everyone wants to speculate. She's made it pretty clear her whole goal of being a pop star was because she wanted to be a pretty paris hilton like celebrity, more than she wanted to be a musician and I think that reflects heavily in the music and the fact her music changes so wildly in quality because her producers/writers end up creating her sound for her. I'd say TOTL3 is not happening because the previous versions are not tied to her record label so the record label does not want to hassle with an extension of it but thats mostly my guess. I feel like Republic did spend a lot of money on Kim and a lot of Kim's stans are in denial about that. From live appearances, big features and music videos, etc. they definitely did not "ignore Kim because shes trans". Reality is a lot of her music is just mid or generic and doesn't resonate with the public, and to be REAL REAL... she does not have any charisma whatsoever. She is awkward on stage and in interviews, she just does not have star power to captivate an audience that doesn't already know of her. Go watch her award show performances there really is nothing special there and I'm sorry that's just tea. Like I'm sorry guys but it just didn't work out for Kim. Now shes in a state of trying to rush release albums: Feed the Beast -> Problematique -> Slutpop 2 to get through her 6 album deal as fast as possible. The record label is likely just over spending so much money on her for no return and now shes butting heads with them over what and how to release something next.

The way I said this album sounded like Grimes if she actually grew as an artist and now here she comes showing up on the remix...

Yall thinking way too much about “Addison Rae”. just let this spoiled LA influencer girl run some charli britney and gaga samples and do her lil serves and bop and move on! aquamarine is a moment! Emphasis on MOMENT! Lmao
-
agreed. Lyrics are incredibly boring and feels uninspired. the sound is great in the intro and the outro and otherwise it feels like gaga but shes done this before. idk its better than most of her recent stuff and it seems like shes going in the right direction but this song is not a big huge comeback track in my opinion. im hoping this is just a tease of what is to come.

OH PERIOD run cathy her checks we need her to be the next White Castle spokesperson. Also got my mixtape deluxe vinyl and i opened the plastic wrap only to find out the holographic "YYY DELUXE" sticker is on the wrap not the sleeve so it came off and i was devastated but its fine the inside is cute and i wanted to look at it.

Really hoping this single is good and does well for her. I have been disillusioned from Gaga since the Joanne era (had a good few songs dont shoot me) and just feel like she has done nothing but make misstep after misstep in her career in every direction from the music to the acting roles she takes to the snoozefest makeup line and of course the infamous neurtec commercials and the total squandering of the Chromatica era will forever burn me. But her artistry is undeniable and unforgettable and so really I just wish she would step into her greatness as she should and show the other pop girls how its really done. In my opinion she is at her best when she is challenging the current norms of the industry and giving to you something more artistic and seemingly "out there" so I hope this very dark aesthetic and sound is really going to take it there.

are we really gonna lose number one to jelly roll...

I think Cynthia is an Emmy, Grammy, and Tony award winning millionaire at the height of her fame and fortune about to be pushed into international celebrity stardom the likes she has never seen before, the likes very few humans will ever get to experience in their lifetime, and she needs to get off her fucking phone and stop being an insufferable virtue signaler mad about some jokes that not even she clearly understands, ie a reference from 10 years ago to a broadway poster graffiti and Charli cashing in on a low effort meme and pink/green association with ariana at the same time their remix drops. Its like damn girl just because you typed all that doesn't suddenly make any of that important like please get over yourself, people are dying Kim. Anyways stream and buy the discounted brat remix album so we can get charli her first billboard debut.
-
kind of crazy the kesha remix has double the streams of ariana's already.

the way i couludnt get that synth line out of my mind while watching that movie and afterwards, went home to see if it was on spotify, and just wished it had vocals... your mind.
-
ok i was traveling while the boiler set dropped but omg. the set was so good and the crowd was soooo boring and it was making me so mad they had so little energy!!! all of the remixes were really cool, i loved Miss Belladonna with that insane synth. I'm really glad to see her going back to some Troubled Paradise tracks because I feel like theres a few that are sooooooo outrageous in their production and shes always talking down on that record. Venom and Self Destruct in this was a perfect fit. Likeeee she picked the hardest songs from all of her eras and it was really back to back my favorite songs from her. Broke Bitch into Purr was so good and I'm definitely excited to see what the next album has coming up.

like was this really so hard charli?!

SLAYYYTER BOILER ROOM PREMIERE TOMORROW WITH BROKE BITCH SNIPPET https://x.com/slayyyter/status/1844101737642328127

Yeah anyways she should have done less of this because half the album is bopless introspection. Caroline ate down though.

Absolutely hate the intro with every fiber of my being but the rest is good, the outro is great. Overall it reminds me of how im feeling now. Its so funny though that all the memes were saying "arianas just going to be like "issa knife"" and thats actually what the entire song says lmfaooo I'm a bit disappointed to be honest as both artists would be in my top 3 of all time... It could have been huge. You could literally cut off the first 50 seconds and add back in the original choruses with both of them doing their renditions of it and the song is astronomically better.

Interview was so good. I love how she touched on these remixes sort of being replies to the original version of the track. I've not seen a "pop" artist really do that with their remixes and it has made the rollout so much more exciting. The way she was able to in real time react to the release of brat and her life since the release of it and how much has changed and then take those same exact songs and respond to totally reflect on the meaning and what she feels now is so interesting. So I being about the good times. Sympathy is a knife, now she IS the girl she was singing about in the original version, so now she speaks about the other perspective as everyone else says those things about her and getting Ariana on the track is just genius.
-
itching for scraps of leaks like a drug addict at this point.
-
sympathy is a knife remix only 3 seconds longer than the original.....
-
now that the tracklist of the remix album has been revealed.... what on earth happened with kesha?! she was named on the brat truck that happened even before the original brat album dropped. so is that just not happening now?!! she seemed perfect for a feature on spring breakers.
-
The Lorde remix really made people think that all the other songs 'about people' were going to also have that feature as the remix. Taylor just.... even if she agreed to be on it, which is extremely unlikely to ever happen.... the song would just be bad. Taylor is not talented or creative enough to handle inserting herself into songs like this. Sympathy is a knife, out of all the songs on brat, its the most opposing of Taylor's music and just overall energy. It is way too harsh and violent of a song. It would literally be like how Lana just randomly shows up completely changing the entire song of Dont Call Me Angel with Ariana and Miley. Just so out of place and nonsensical. Thank GOD someone else is going to be on that remix.

No lie I checked out at Off With Her Tits but the Galina story about the eczema cream deserved a stream and why is that song so fucking good to be about eczema cream.
-
Sweat Tour was fucking incredible the absolute funnest show I've ever been to. Now you're telling me ARIANA GRANDE IS ON A REMIX. She just cant STOP. WINNING!!!!!!!!!!

She has mentioned before that Starfucker was her last album with the label. And she was in a hiatus bc of her contract she couldnt release anything for a while. Which is why No Comma was teased so long ago and not released until now... If you look at No Comma on Spotify it will say "Slayyyter, distributed by Stem" which is basically a platform for artists to release their music through. This is the first time one of her releases has said this.
-
thats what i originally thought she was saying bc it was dropping right at the same time kim was dropping slut pop miami and there was all that drama and controversy between the stans. but i had been wondering lately if it might be "fader label" because this song is the first after dropping from the label, and the song makes plenty of references to hating the labels and the music industry. she has recently reiterated the song being about her distaste for a lot of the bigger music industry and what goes down. her not having lyrics posted on the spotify upload is also annoying lol. I always hear the "sometimes they're bitches" part as "those sons of bitches".
-
every single line in no comma is golden. she was right to brag about being the only writer on every track for her next album because this is whats missing from the imitators songs. and the production is insane. it captures exactly the chaos and sleaze that shes trying to depict with the song like its just... perfectly crafted. you can SEE the events of this song while its playing. Its giving Miami the same way Everything Is Romantic gives Italy in my mind.
