anyways I forgot IT GIRL existed that is such a fun song and I will never understand why they never let her release it in full after it was featured for a brand collaboration and everything!!! https://youtu.be/ZmemD2TuXE4 like how tf was this not a single with a music video release and like a link to her in this video's description.... her record label really missed an opportunity.
-
Very likely that next week will be the reveal if all of the merch on her shop is all vanishing at once after the weekend.
-
i feel so bad for her no artist deserves this ruining their rollout im sure she has some amazing songs on this album and she seemed really excited to release so i hope it doesnt get scrapped. im rooting for her so hard and ready just like through Troubled Paradise to support her cd, vinyl, merch and tour and i know many other fans are too.

I mean since day one it really felt like Kim wanted to be a ~big mainstream popstar~ and that comes with all the trappings of the record label. She certainly at the end of the day got what she wanted for better and worse. The Feed The Beast title and theming makes absolutely no sense for her and I really hope its just me reading too much into the "beast" in the title that Republic isn't trying to surround Kim in more "satanic" controversy like Unholy created just to stir up talk about the album when its becoming exceedingly dangerous to be trans in America right now. I'm also pretty annoyed by brrr and unholy being the final two tracks because I feel like making the last track a single that everyone has already heard really ruins some of the enjoyment of a new album on release day. You don't really get that album closer feeling if you've already heard the final song months and months ago.
-
Unholy being in the tracklist is really reeking of desperation on Republic's part. What is even the benefit of that exactly? Like is that track REALLY doing that well, that in a month from now, its going to make a noticeable difference in the album's charting?

She deleted a lot of instagram posts. Seems like something is going to drop very soon.

okay so im not going crazy lol that explains why i couldnt find it anymore. thanks.

It was on the set list but if you look at the replies it was replaced by Touch My Body during the actual set. Its likely it was planned to be on the album right up through the tour but was taken off the album at the last minute so she decided to just not perform it. Obviously she still likes the song if she'd even suggest it would go on a Deluxe without yet doing so. (Didn't she reply to someone already saying the album wasnt Club Valentine and like "why are people calling it that" or was that in response to people calling it "I Love Hollywood"? I cant remember)

okay but how was it leaked..? and how is it hers at all? it just doesnt sound like her. singing voice isnt hers and rapping style isnt the same either. and the lyrics are too on the nose even for some of her most vulgar tracks. like even throatzilla at least has some clever alliterations this is just crude verse to verse and she doesnt really ever have a male rap feature and the production is just... generic and doesnt sound like anything else shes ever worked on. her timeline era to era just seems really ahead of itself like TP leaked way before release and now this. i know it takes a long time to prepare a whole album rollout but something seems off. and the fact that she is already performing a lot of the songs before even releasing them is also a confusing one. i know some artists do that to get an upcoming single buzzing on social media, but shes basically toured with half an album before even dropping one single.

she posted a new snippet on instagram stories of Attention. but i didnt save it or anything. i was actually hoping someone here saved it and posted it here lol.
-
she also recently followed kim on instagram and replied to a fan's comment saying they should collab with eyeballs emoji

Wow lmao that sucks one of her songs got ruined by some cartoon NFT character. But hopefully girl gets her piece of the coin lmao...

i mean, sure. but this is spotify. people are profiting off streams of her songs, its her property. they are stealing. so she has every right to have it taken down from places like that. if they aren't making money from her work though i find it kind of pointless. Its kind of crazy though that the company doing the strikes is so overreaching they can just get other artists albums taken down like that... someone at my TP tour q&a actually asked her about Ayesha and I could tell her immediate reaction was kind of nerved by it / it threw her off and she didnt really know what to say at first. She basically said they're on good terms but don't really talk much to each other anymore. The overall vibe though was very "i cant really tell all the details, so in front of a crowd im going to say something nice and move on from the question". I feel like its painfully obvious Ayesha has removed herself from all of this so its kind of dumb to even ask her about it especially in front of a crowd like that I was kind of shocked tbh. Like what would Slayyyter's previous music producer have to do with her after she has left the music industry and went into complete hiding of her identity......... like do I think her production was perfect for Slayyyter, yes, and I'd love more but its just history at this point.

its still up and i listened to it earlier today???

honestly if i was her i would just not mention it on twitter bc i didnt even know troubled paradise leaked until really close to the release date when it apparently leaked months prior. i wasnt as aware of the different forums and stuff at the time or what sites to look for them. and i think a vast majority of her followers dont actually know about where to look for them either or that they even leaked. But if a stan reads on twitter that its leaked they arent going to be able to help themselves and they will certainly go digging and find the leaks... because thats exactly what i did lol. I dont feel bad though tbh considering I own two cds, 3 vinyls, apparel, and bought a vip ticket to the TP tour and I will do all the same for the next era as well. But not all of her fans are doing that so shes only kind of making herself lose out on her own streams profits by vague-tweeting about leaks.

of course i find all of this after krakenfiles goes down...

thats what i thought the next album would be. the album so far seems very invocative of ava max, kim petras, and similar "nostalgic" sounding electronic pop production that has been going around a lot lately. i know she probably wants to step away from the whole 'hyperpop' thing and label of 'hyperpop artist' but i have really been craving something along the lines of a more refined Chase Icon sound like you mentioned. like that style of hard hitting production with slayyyter's more intentional and refined lyrics and song structure like Troubled Paradise (the song). Because my big problem with Chase's tracks is a lot of the lyrics are just trash or just intentionally funny / a joke. This album seems like a lot of fun dance songs but not very many tracks seem like serious bangers to me that really wow'ed me.

Looks like she also performed Erotic Electronic at the Tove Lo show. So theres another confirmed track for S3. I am pretty curious as to why she has decided to play all of these new songs on this opening act. Its not like the audience can go home and check out all of those songs on Spotify after the show. Its got me wondering how this new album rollout is even going to go. Because she has to know people will record these songs and post the videos, so its not like they can be hyped and teased as an upcoming single?? So is she going to do less singles this era leading up to the album? Or even a big all-at-once album drop with no singles at all?? Kind of hard to imagine shes saving singles back while choosing to perform My Body / Hollywood / Belladonna early, all three seem like hype single material.
-
it was posted by https://twitter.com/stevenartpop but they literally just deleted it?? idk why.
-
Someone on twitter recorded her performing Belladonna, she goes higher/bigger than the live recording at the ending. Pretty interesting. And I guess this confirms that either Belladonna, Hollywood, or My Body could be the first single off the new album since those are the songs she seems willing to play live so far. Ive seen clips from the Tove Lo tour of her playing: Mine, Stupid Boy, Belladonna, and allegedly she performed Hollywood too. is she really still hanging onto Stupid Boy...? like im sorry but... i feel like thats the last song she needs to be playing on tour to a new audience. it does her no justice... lyrics, vocals, or production. she has so many better songs.
-
its very very weird seeing kim petras, be kim petras, and her label kinda turning her into that girl who gets on features with all the general public radio artists. i feel like meghan trainor is just the epitome of that audience right now. really did not expect that for her career trajectory but im glad it seems to be working out for her because she does have some good songs that deserve more attention. made you look is just unlistenably stale and annoying to me though. also that cover art is abysmal like did a middle schooler photoshop that together....

I had all of my slayyyter unreleases in one album on my phone but I've been thinking of setting up an S3 separate album. Assuming all the leaks from last year (New Life, Dolce Vita, Lover Boy, Tear Me Open) up until now are "S3"... the tracklist thematically could be something like: New Life, Dolce Vita, Lover Boy, Tommy, Dramatic, My Body, Spend The Night, I Love Hollywood, Plastic, Ms Belladonna, Rhinestone Heart, Tear Me Open. Maybe its cliche but in this order it kind of paints a picture of moving to Hollywood and falling in love but then being consumed by the crazy Hollywood life and becoming a colder person and the relationship falls apart. I know this is def not the actual S3 tracklist as some of these were scrapped but it makes for a fun replacement in the meantime imo. As for the album art I really like this one she posted recently on twitter
-
Dolce Vita, New Life, and Plastic all sound like they would fit on S3. Although honestly I don't want Dolce Vita or New Life taking up track spots... Also, random, but does anyone know the story behind The Reaper? I first found it as a Slayyyter leaked/unreleased only to find out it was officially released by... The Chainsmokers?! ft another random female vocalist. And their version is, dare I say, absolutely awful. Like straight unlistenable. And it seems like Slayyyter's voice is in the intro to the track still?? Unless I'm completely wrong and she just covered it and kept that sample in the beginning of her version. Some youtube comments say its just a cover and some say it was supposed to be her on the track originally so I'm just confused.

WTMI remix is seriously incredible I cannot believe how different it sounds from the original its entirely a new song.
