Guys I straight up just asked my magic 8 ball, "Is Lana releasing a single this Friday?" and it replied "It is certain." IM FREAKING OUT RN
My 8 ball just upgraded from psychic era to insider era, xoxo, see you all Friday, February 10, 2023 for the surprise drop of A&W, visualiser included. -

Well yes, except for Venice Bitch, which is a top 3 for NFR.
Anyway, here are my track predictions for the album:
Most Popular — A&W
Fan Favorite — Fishtail + Candy Necklace
Most Experimental — Judah Smith Interlude + Margaret
Cult Classic — Grandfather
Best Song — Kintsugi
Most Painful — Fingertips + Paris, Texas

Aw, thank you. Also, my replies might be a little late because all my messages have to be approved by a mod for the next few days.
However, I do actually believe we will get something today. We've been teased so much this week, it's all leading up to this.

something is coming today, I can feel it
Neil's stories, the creation of oceanblvd, the fact that we've passed the halfway pointa&w coming in 5 hours and 55 minutes

You and me, both.
Lyrical masterpieces always get hate because of the stripped down music, but Kintsugi has everything

Just now, Fingertips said:I think Fishtail might be super polarizing because of Chuck speaking on it, and I don't think A&W will be universally loved as Venice Bitch. I can see that one being pretty polarizing as well.
Yeah, I was thinking A&W too. Especially since it's one of the more popular tracks since the insiders said it was wild and Jack said it was his favorite, and the more popular tracks always go either way.

Okay lmao 😅
ANYWAYS Y'ALL, CAN SOMEONE PULL UP SOME MUSIC THAT THIS NEW SAXOPHONIST FOR THE ALBUM HAS DONE? -
Just now, mrborntolose said:is being a fake insider like a fetish for some of y’all? i truly don’t get it like why waste yours and everyone else’s time
I wasn't trying to waste anyone's time, I thought everyone knew I was joking. I'm really sorry.
-
Guys, I hope you all know I was just kidding about being an insider. I've been here long enough for you all to know that I'm not. It was just a funny joke to me, and I'm sorry if I pissed anyone off. I was in no way trying to troll, and I thought that it would be clear since I'm obviously not an insider. Again, sorry if I upset anyone.
-
Is this enough proof? Sorry, I decided against posting another link because I don't want any high-tech hackers to get the song somehow and have it leak. Also, this keeps other people from faking as an insider with my link.
mod note: user has been warned for this post
-
officially coming out as an insider cause yall need saving

Just now, The Grants said:I wonder what could be so bad about a jon batiste interlude
if it's mostly him singing maybe
-
Anyways, as soon as the title of Kintsugi dropped, it's been my number 1, and the production credits solidified that for me.
If Kinstugi is your #1, reply to this post xoxo -

But I’d never leave Texas for you
I peaked young and dumb
I was chasing after fame
And now I am old, now I know, it's not worth it in the end
But I'm still chasing something to mend
yeah I can do that too, little brat -

it’s not relevant to the threadWell because the snippet was listed as part of the album, not just a random snippet. If it was moved, where would I find it?
-
Guys Im so confused where did my post about the push me down for you snippet go?
Did mods move it? -
2 minutes ago, Fingertips said:Once I heard Kintsugi say Candy Necklace is massive, I understood why it's sandwiched in between two interludes. The Judah Smith interlude as an exorcism from American Whore, and Jon Batiste interlude will be a comedown from how massive Candy Necklace is, gently guiding us into a more emotional part of the record
The Candy Necklace, JBI, Kintsugi, Fingertips, Paris Texas chain will be the death of me.
Nonstop tears. -
Wrote some lyrics for Paris, Texas to match up with the SYML sample.
If you wanna imagine the lyrics on top of the piano, the lyrics start at 0:11 in the song.
SpoilerI'm here in L.A.
But nothing feels different
Watching home movies, tryna to learn happiness again
Still can't take away all my blues andIt's hard to go on
Like nothing bad happened
I'm just fine
On the telephone
I'm lost in my own mind
I'm so far away, and I already feel so alone
I keep singing songs, all the same toneI was in Brooklyn
But nothing felt different
I couldn't stay
I peaked young and dumb
I was chasing after fame
And now I am old, now I know, it's not worth it in the end
But I'm still chasing something to mendAll the drugs we took, drinks we drank
Drained me out and left no gas in my tank
I'm waiting for night to fall
Don't look back, don't think back, just drive aheadI'm still finding home
See what feels different
Where is my love
Somewhere I feel safe
Maybe with my family
I should take some time, look for mine, take roads I haven't before
Soon the sun will rise, so will my demiseGoodbye
