yeah i don't think it should be taken down unless lana or her team says something abt it the lyrics about being thrown around stuff are a lil extreme tho i do have a question about why that other forbidden song was such a big deal like i get it's about a pregnancy that obviously didn't end well, but is that it bc ive also heard rumors about medical records is that part true?

now y'all know they gonna try to track down this leaker lana DOES NOT want this out there
-
imo, i don't think any tracks need to be removed (except maybe the interlude), i just think the tracklist needed to be rearranged bc sweet, ocean blvd, and kintsugi are very necessary songs it would be hard to have smooth transitions from upbeat songs to soft piano songs but I'm sure they could have made it work now i gotta go to the tracklist rearranging thread and see if it actually IS possible

can someone pls explain to me why so many people have jon batiste interlude above an actual song? like imo, even judah smith interlude is better bc at least he's actually saying stuff but in jon batiste, it's just shouting and him saying "i feel it" over and over, and the Judah Smith Interlude has a better instrumental too

Personally, I wanna see more haunting and eerie music from her. Maybe some witchy folk songs too (ik people say this a lot, but it's true bc we all know she would serve) Think songs like Judah Smith Interlude (with her singing ofc), Candy Necklace, Season of the Witch, Mermaid Motel, Valley of the Dolls, Roses Bloom For You, Big Eyes, etc. -

when Earthquakes is on the tracklist then what -
after a few more listens to the album as a whole, I've come to really appreciate Paris, texas. It used to be at the bottom of my ranking, but atp, i can't even rank this album. This may grow to be my favorite from her. I really do love the vibe of HM, BB, and UV, and I don't feel that warmth from this record yet, but I'm sure I will feel it after a while with it.

i've been thinking about this, in order to fit the narrative thread a bit more, i think i would have preferred this: 1. The Grants 2. DYKTTATUOB 3. Fingertips 4. Kintsugi 5. Grandfather please stand on the shoulders of my father 6. Sweet 7. Paris, Texas 8. Judah Smith Interlude 9. Candy Necklace 10. Jon Batiste Interlude 11. A&W 12. Fishtail 13. Peppers 14. Let The Light In 15. Margaret 16. Taco Truck x VB or something similar to that .

really? i think this album has two different sides and this matches one of them perfectly on one side, there's the haunting, confessional, wordy, reflective, melancholic side that has songs like The Grants, DYK, Sweet, Candy Necklace, Kintsugi, Fingertips, Grandfather, and Paris, Texas and then on the other, there's this lustful, sensual, fun, energetic, carefree, warm side with songs like Let The Light In, Margaret, Fishtail, Peppers, Taco Truck x VB, and the second half of A&W
