days later this comment still haunts me i'd like to think other big award shows have recognized and celebrated her (billboard, mtv, etc.), but the academy seems like it will never stop playing her. although she came out herself and said that she felt happy that night and it was a fun experience, i still can't help but feel disappointed and angry for her. how she has been fumbled eleven different times with them, and why i'm always hopeful they'll come around is something i'll never understand.

how long has boygenius existed? i only started hearing about them this past year. the thought that lana got snubbed in an ALT CATEGORY for a band that just popped out of thin air makes me sick

same it's getting tiring being a fan because there's always something new for people to dog pile on her for (some of it being reasonable but most of it not so much.) i do sit and wonder if i actually am just biased or if what i defend is what i believe. would i be more angry about this lawsuit if it were from some other artist it didn't listen to and love? and it doesn't help that the public (and the lipsters ) are getting increasingly tired of tolerating her. idk. i'm about to just stop getting involved in her personal life and just listen to the records.

do i think the student should continue exposing the damage she and other billionaires are doing daily? absolutely. but you can still prove your point without putting her in potential danger

trying to figure out if she's sending some code through these wack ass names or if she's actually gone off the rails

simply put, what is something that relates to lana and/or her music that pops in your head way too frequently? this can range anywhere from unhinged lyrics, fashion, iconic quotes, etc. personally i have never been able to stop thinking about the absolute 180° the next best american record took lyrically from it's demo (i wasn't sure if we already had a thread like this one, mods please feel free to move this if it's too similar to another one)

i really hope we get another song like mad woman. the piano and guitar in the beginning embodies the feeling of festering anger, i love it so much. the "storms in my eyes" lyric from you're losing me shows she has so much she's ready to spill out
