I see The Anthology as an extended deluxe addition because I feel like there was absolutely 0 thought put into the track listing, I think it is one of her worst tracklists ever. Why is The Black Dog the opener? Why is The Albatross, one of the most folky songs on the record, right after imgonnagetyouback, which is a spacey vibey pop song?:awkney: It only makes it worse that the standard TTPD has literally her best tracklist.

this is why i feel like one of the more poppy songs (imgonnagetyouback or so high school) should've been swapped on the tracklist for the smallest man who ever lived. that song just screams anthology. she should've kept that evermore folksy vibe going and left the pop songs for the standard imo

this is gonna be controversial, but "The Tortured poets Department" might be her weakest title track to date.

the title track feels almost ai generated to me, or what someone would say a generic ts song sounds like. it's catchy but not on same the level as the rest of the record

The fact that all all these shill reviewers acclaim bombed her-only to go with the inverse opinion after others disagreed :lmao:

exactly, it's incredibly see-through. i personally couldn't care less what the critics say, but to watch them coward behind whatever train of thought is most popular at the moment is pathetic. form your own opinions and SAY THEM WITH YOUR CHEST! (and if you're going to be as disrespectful as to bring Sylvia Plath into your silliness, put your name on it.)

  8. it's a shame this album was released at the height of public disdain for her :sadcore: we're not getting honest feedback, we're getting a bunch of comments from people who are tired of seeing her. even if you completely dislike the record, it's not worth a 1/10.

Loss of My Life deserved it more.

i think loml equally deserves the title. what i was talking about, though, was the people saying so long, london was not at all sad and it was too boring

Oh, this is one of the few tracks that I was able to get hooked on listening to:noparty:

Are there any bops on the album, except for a couple from the standard version?

i'm still only listening to the standard, waiting to tire it out before i look into the other 15 tracks. my favorite popish tracks at the moment are fortnight, guilty as sin, down bad, florida and my boy only breaks his favorite toys

  11. just ventured onto twitter to see how other fans are reacting, bad choice :thumb3: glad i only checked here during release because what do you mean so long, london doesn't deserve to be a track 5? :wtf2:

no but she really should have waited AT LEAST a month to drop the second album, 31 songs all at once is overwhelming

i haven't even fully listened through anthology yet because 16 songs is already so much. i'm gonna wait till i've overplayed the standard record to dive into the rest

i always wonder why you come into this thread. you make your stance on taylor very clear, what's the point in trying to provoke other people on this forum?

you forgot to add the million to 100 in your original comment. 100 monthly listeners is probably what nikki pulls on a good day :rip:

  15. talking like this when more the half of lana's fan base stays up praying that she's not featured on lasso. guess she's gotta stay relevant somehow :blush3:

Ok if you’re NOT Taylor Swift, Proceed…

      Reveal hidden contents

I think Taylor is paying for a “hate campaign” on social media so Reputation can be released during a “buzzy?” Time.

    I don’t know, I’m Delusional…

you don't have to pay people to hate taylor swift  :deadbanana:

that's just something that generally happens when you're inescapable, some just start to get mean and bitter
