  1. You're not, I don't really want it either and also if it was described as QFTC pt 2, we don't need another controversy on the horizon
  2. It's a Lust For Life outtake, Pantene123 revealed that last month
  3. wow she had a lot to talk about capitol records, she really seemed like a prisoner of it. i can't wait for leash!
  4. I was reading this old British Vogue interview bit with Lana from October 2011 where she was asked about Video Games being used in many fashion shows and look what she said: This was the very first mention of "Summertime Sadness" but as a 'description', she thinks that Video Games embodies summertime sadness. That's a really awesome connection between these! I loved her answer!
  5. Hahah, yeah I was referencing that! I wonder if it actually meant something because Southern Gothic is a name of her Instagram story highlight as well.
  6. When the tracklist is revealed and Stars Align is there
  7. Her some of her song titles in her albums are: • one word adjectives or random things/people (Sweet, Beautiful, Bartender, Dealer, Thunder, Change, Fishtail, Freak), she has a lot them • references to a (famous or a close) person (Margaret, NFR, Sweet Caroline, Terrence Loves You) • references to a famous song or a book or a movie (Sweet Caroline, Paris Texas, Lolita, Body Electric) • sentence from a chorus (Grandfather..., Did You Know..., Hope..., When The World..., Let Me Love...) • names of location/places (Yosemite, California, Venice Bitch, Mariners Apartment Complex, Arcadia) • weird but cute word combinations (Tulsa Jesus Freak, Wildflower Wildfire, Summer Bummer, Coachella Woodstock In My Mind) • clothing items, accessories (Black Bathing Suit, White Dress, Candy Necklace) • Food, mostly drinks (Taco Truck, Cola, Cherry, A&W - a rootbeer brand, Diet Mountain Dew) I mean, we can expect at least one from each category for The Right Person Will Stay Also, appreciation post for Dark But Just A Game, I fucking love this title, I claimed this from day one!!!
  8. Before her show in Coachella she put up a Billboard in Los Angeles (I'm pretty sure was it LA?) saying "Has Anyone Else Died For You" with a cross and the date of the day (January 19th, 2012) when she performed at SNL with her name. It's basically showing how the general public crucified her for her performance at the SNL and got criticized for her stage presence and live singing during the Born To Die tour in general and it's basically Lana having a "last laugh" how she's headlining Coachella now.
  9. If The Right Person Will Stay is Lasso (and not a double album in a delulu land) then as we know, she worked on that album for 4 or probably 5 years now and that obviously means that she has worked with a lot of people for that and maybe this album has like 200 outtakes and she chose 13 songs out of that bunch for a cohesive record.
  10. Eventually it's up to you. Do whatever you think is the best choice for you!
  11. BUY IT! It's a beautiful Lana related item to collect
  12. Blue Banisters is one of those albums that is rather "incohesive" than samey tbh, like Wildflower, Black Bathing Suit, Text Book, The Trio, Beautiful and Nectar Of The Gods sound all different imo. And I think she's having 4 different producers for the album because they're also songwriters and last year she said to Hollywood Reporter that she's working with a different songwriter (I think she meant Luke Laird then), because she felt the need to "edit" her lyrics after Ocean Blvd ⬇️ But also I really like Nectar and Earthquakes and Henry does give me vibes of Tropico original concept, so I'd be happy with that as long as the vocals are crystal clear (which seems to be the case in Henry)
  13. When "Waist Deep In Icy Waves" is in The Right Person Will Stay
  14. Even if the album is bad (but I believe it will be good, I mean it's not going to be a 143 lol) for some people, we still get new music nontheless AND every album of hers has a 10/10 masterpiece song and a fan favorite song, like even some of yours least favorite album has great songs, so we will be fed either way!
  15. This reminds me of when I put cards for COTCC album in February 2021 and I read out that the reactions from fans and the public will be disappointed/mid and White Dress will be polarizing and I was like aw shit let's hope it doesn't happen Gorgeous edit by the way! <3
  16. Earlier today, I was just randomly reading Wikipedia articles about some folk fusion genres and found some really interesting ones: Neofolk, also known as apocalyptic folk or folk noir https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neofolk Folk baroque https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folk_baroque These seems really interesting concepts of folk music and I'd really like to see Lana experimenting with these genres in The Right Person Will Stay, especially since the first one apocalyptic folk almost reminds me of Southern Gothic but it's more witchier!
  17. there are many interludes by other artists i really love and have listened to (even separately) but i think that the interludes in ocean blvd were really weak (even though I still like jon batiste's interlude). interludes should be in a ~20 track album but not in a 13 album track. i also think that interludes take place of a possible amazing outtake, i mean look at the potential what zodiac had if it wasn't for those interludes. as i also said, i'd agree with an interlude which has her singing.
  18. Interludes are fillers, they should be outros or intros of the song instead or used in music videos (like The Trio in Arcadia), unless she sings/speaks in it like Burnt Norton or Stargirl.

  21. This version, which was used in Festival Tour 2019 but she should fully sing it!
  22. any vinyl color predictions? i want a golden vinyl this time.
  23. The group also influenced the songs in Lust For Life but I remember it was said the same about the original direction of NFR as well. Many of her album's first written tracks are influenced by the previous release, for example the sound of the Lust For Life demo is very similar to Honeymoon but also Old Money's production (the earliest Ultraviolence song) is very similar to the sound of Paradise. That also makes me wonder how similar will The Right Person Will Stay be to Ocean Blvd
  24. She opened the Fenway Stadium show with this song. Here's a clip of it from the show: https://x.com/LDRCRAVE/status/1804004857709318601 But about The Shangri-Las, I do remember that Lana or Jack Antonoff said that the original direction for the NFR album was the sound of 1960s girl group songs like The Shangri-Las, so maybe, it's just a theory that the song originated from those earlier NFR! sessions.
