  1. I don't like Brooklyn Baby very much.
  2. *weeps* I like all three of these.
  3. I just hate her voice on it tbh. Off to the Races is the best!
  4. I think she should milk the crybaby motif for a while more. It works really well. Honestly anything thematic from her is exciting, though.
  5. Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I forgot to send you a PM! This is not a regular thing for me; I promise to do so in the future! So sorry about that.
  6. OH GOD YES SHE'S COMING BACK TO MY CITY!!

  11. My latest quiz, per request. Thanks for all the support, LB <3 https://www.playbuzz.com/hannahtoner10/which-song-on-honeymoon-are-you My result: Freak You are a passionate and fiery soul; palms and blue fire reflect in your eyes. Sure, you're a little weird, but you wouldn't want it any other way. Trust me, your friends love you for it too.
  12. Thank *you*! :3 The Honeymoon one is now up.
  13. Yay :3 1. Swan Song- Perfection. It hits hard. 2. The Blackest Day- Such a tearjerker. I weep. 3. Music to Watch Boys To- What a grower! At first I wasn't sure about it, but now I'm in love. 4. Salvatore- So epic. I love this one. I imagine a gangster music video with a red satin dress. Soft ic ed cream is my favorite food. 5. High by the Beach- A little poppy for my tastes but just too good to write off! Great for sad days. 6. Freak- Reminds me so much of American Horror Story, lol. Maybe I'll make an AMV. The background vocals are badass. 7. Honeymoon- Spellbindingly beautiful, if a little slow. I wish it was more like the end the whole way through and the cello was a little louder. 8. Art Deco- I love the synthy stuff, but overall it's too hipstery for my tastes. Much like Brooklyn Baby. 9. 24- This one is pretty epic, but somehow also forgettable. I'm not sure how... 10. God Knows I Tried- A lovely song, but also kind of boring. 11. Religion- Pretty, but some of her singing annoys me on this track. The wobbly flatness of it all. 12. Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood- Jazzy, and I love the instrumental, but it bugs me. Probably just because I grew up listening to the original. 13. Terrence Loves You- Snoooooooze. 14. Burnt Norton- Lovely, but just an interlude and she didn't write the words so...
  14. How do we make this happen.
  15. The Paradise (studio) version... like I said lol.
  16. Pacify Her Instrumental Remake sounds absolutely fantastic, wow.
  17. I thought those were unpopular after seeing some bashing... I hate Video Games so very much.
  18. I have a list: 1. Hyperballad by Bjork Preferably like the Brodsky quartet version but with a huuuge orchestra and tons of reverb. Maybe even windy noises. I want to see the music video for it so bad. Lana, on top of a mountain, with a long flowing white dress. They should show the things as they fall in slow motion. "We live on a mountain... right at the top..." 2. Body Company by And One A weird one for sure, considering that this is German darkwave club music. Not exactly her thing but... I imagine she'd slow it down, with dissonance and heavy bass. I want to hear her quietly sing these dark, macabre lines. "Sex will cover your black machinery (let me inside)." 3. Dead Souls or She's Lost Control by Joy Division Mostly curious as to how she'd interpret Joy Division, but I think it would be amazing. "And she turned around and took me by the hand and said I've lost control again..." 4. Don't Dream It's Over by Crowded House Most covers of this song suck, if not all of them (Miley's was especially bad), which is why I think Lana should rock it. Make it popular again. The original is just too good to be forgotten. "Now I'm walking again, to the beat of the drum, and I'm counting the steps to the door of your heart..." 5. Heart Shaped Sunglasses by Marilyn Manson You could do a lot with this one, and she could go full Lolita on it too. I mean, if she ever wants to recreate that style of things. Since he mostly screamsings it, she could honestly go anywhere with the vocals. Also, the word "little girl". "She said: kiss me, it will heal, but it won't forget." 6. In Your Room by Depeche Mode My favorite band. It took me a long time to think of the perfect song by them for her to sing and damn. This song is just so desperately sad. If Lana sung it, I might jump off a bridge. In a good way. Let's put Lana in this chair: "In your room, where souls disappear. Only you exist here..." 7. Remind Me by Royksopp Another desperately sad song that would probably make me jump off a bridge. I don't want this woman to hold her tongue; silence won't speak for her! Not today, Satan! "I'm failing to recall what I was missing all that time in England..." 8. Sex and Candy by Marcy Playground Chill, funny, cute, sad. It's perfect. "And there she was, like double cherry pie." 9. Wonderful Woman by The Smiths If she covered anything written by Morrissey, I would scream myself horse at the news. She should do this in a femme fatale sort of way. The Other Woman sure can be cruel. She would kill it, perhaps literally. My favorite song by The Smiths is Still Ill but I'm not sure it suits her. Bonus points if she imitated this cover: "Ice water for blood, beneath no heart nor spine." 10. Candy Says by The Velvet Underground Sad, but hopeful. I want to see her spin on this classic. It's been covered a million times. My personal favorite version is by Martin Gore. I think she could do even better. "What do you think I'd see if I could walk away from me?" 11. Heroin She Said by Wolfsheim Another German synthpop song, actually, damn. True perfection, though. Hopeless, and yet somehow hopeful as well. I think, with her own experiences regarding addiction, she could make this a truly soulful ballad. "A skinny figure in the dark, her face a shade of grey." I'll stop for now. I've lost control. Ever seen this?
