Hold Me Close sounds great, does anyone know what year/who produced? Her vox sound a little odd, I know it's just a demo but I can't tell if it's giving AI or not

The Dare track doesn't really fit with the names of the unheard tracks left on the tracklist, I'm calling it Pretty In Pink. This era's Hot In It maybe?

I don't think I've disliked a single song from this era yet... hopefully this means single/MV this week!!

Brooke Candy recorded Block????
-
I wouldn't say that just yet, this is just a one-off single for a movie soundtrack. I'm very excited though, ppl who have seen the movie early say it's a banger. Co-produced by AG and apparently very grungy Alanis vibes

I feel like the billboard is teasing them appearing together on stage at Coachella if anything

Has anyone been able to find Brat production credits anywhere? Ik sometimes they go up pre-release... Out of the yet-to-be-released tracks, all we know so far is that El Guincho worked on "Everything is romantic" (he's heavily involved in the new Camila record too... some of you may get a kick out of that info) & "Talk talk" is an A. G. + HudMo coprod. At first I didn't think the song as a whole was about anyone in particular, more of a commentary on the experience of being a "woman in music," but ever since The Face wrote about it being about "the fraught relationship she has with an unnamed female artist," I do wonder... A lot of the lyrics point more to it being about Lorde imo... very reminiscent of her 360_brat story mentioning her from last summer discussing them making plans to make music and never actually going through with it, "people say we're alike," etc... The "you should come to my party / and put your hands up" lyrics feels like a reference to Lorde's lyric about how she's "kinda over getting told to put [her] hands up in the air" from Team as well. I suppose it could be interpreted to be about Marina too, the lyrics somehow feel too direct, like she's saying too much, but still vague at the same time. Incredible song, can't wait to hear the final. (Same goes for "I think about it all the time")

365 (or maybe just the Easyfun remix) samples this track!!

Ok the MV is seriously cunt... excited to hear AG remix w/ Addison and whatever the third track is... I feel like her posting the album length but not the tracklist could possibly point to it being nonstop DJ set style tbh Also hoping for some cute merch

Tbh I'm more excited about the album announcement / tracklist reveal than I am about Von Dutch itself. Don't get me wrong I will be streaming- I think it's a really fun song, but with so much of it being teased for so long I know exactly what we're getting here. (I really hope her "lying era" includes telling us Spring Breakers isn't on the album, it'd be a damn shame if her best song in years is relegated to a B-side of a lead single) I've seen a few theories that the album will be nonstop / kinda mixed like a DJ set and I think that's a really cool idea. A lot of the stuff she's previewed has been around the same BPM and littered with vocal samples that are either shared with or reference other tracks. Maybe it's just a live thing and I'm reading too much into it but like the "girl", "right now", etc. could be a clue.

Doss also played a version of this track at Boat Yeah with vocals (could be sampled, I'm not sure)...
