exactly. i think if she never got political, criticised kanye and hexed trump, people would be less inclined to “expect” more of her and for her to stick to speaking up consistently past 2017-2020. in 2020, claims of her being a republican were baseless as she was actively positioning herself to be against it whereas now idk if she could defend herself after marrying a (past? maybe current?) trump supporter, people would instantly pull that card against her so imo she should just avoid politics as i think it would backfire on her worse than in 2020, when the claims were unfounded just my unpopular lana opinion! i’m not judging her for it, i couldn’t care less about her opinions that’s not my business
