Resurrecting this thread to tell you all I made a sad music video for "Close Encounters" that I wanted to share....

I'm actually so excited to hear what Marina's got in store for us. I'm thinking that the lyricism of this album might not be as good as her previous albums (based on Baby and the small snippets we've heard so far) BUT the music sounds so fun and upbeat and pop and I'm totally here for it! Plus it's just so good seeing Marina enjoying her life and being so proud of what she's created. Enjoy Your Life (if that's what it's called) sounds so good! And Baby is still such a banger!

Wow just WOW, I watched the live performance at Apple and FUCK, I am convinced this woman is literally an angel. I don't understand how she sounds so beautiful!! Honestly, some of y'all are Negative Nancys and need to just breathe for a minute. Let's not forget that this album already has 3 of Lana's best songs: Venice Bitch, Mariners Apartment Complex and Cinnamon! SO don't lose hope... sure, there might be a song or two that's not your cup of tea (e.g. the rap feature) but the fact is, we're getting a new Lana album VERY soon and so far the songs we've heard are amazing.

What if she's working with Emile Haynie again? He's worked with both Lana and The Neighbourhood... it wouldn't surprise me if that's how Lana met the NBHD.

I find it kinda strange how an album titled "Lust for Life" could be full of slow and depressing songs.... but hey, it's Lana we're talking about! I thought she was saying "chateau" since she seems to use that word a lot in her songs. lol

THANK YOU. If someone is being a fucking idiot, they deserve to be called out. I understand racism/sexism/homophobia/transphobia etc. are definitely real things we need to fight against but I'm kind of sick of people bringing race, gender, etc. into discussions that really have nothing to do with them. Lana calling out Azaelia and Kayne for their bullshit is NOT racism, it's Lana being confident enough to say that bullying is never ok, and delusional people with antisocial tendencies need serious mental health treatment.

In all seriousness, I'm like 99% sure Azealia has a personality disorder, most likely a Cluster B disorder (e.g. antisocial, narcissistic). Only someone severely mentally ill would behave like this and have absolutely no awareness of how destructive they are being. She's also delusional so there's that too. Reminds me of a particular president we know.........
