I hope Seventeen is as much of a bop as this iconic masterpiece:
-
Honestly, the more I think about it, I'd lowkey love an album full of upbeat bops with slightly darker undertones and Lana's seductive voice. Songs like Off to the Races, West Coast, Lolita, Florida Kilos, Salvatore, Music to Watch Boys To, Cherry, etc... These songs are all so different but somehow still feel united and cohesive as a whole. I doubt Lana would return to these kinds of songs for an entire album but oh boy, imagine if she did!

She probably just picked the first released song of hers going alphabetically tbh

What a queen. We stan an iconic legend.

I'm living for this era. The album is going to be a masterpiece. Also, since when was she a Muslim? Not that it matters but i'm just curious.

found her again!

Unpopular opinion, but honestly, I couldn't care less about these stems, all I want is new Marina music...

the diamonds praying that Marina will come through with her promise for new music this year:

I think it's so disrespectful how people constantly presume Lana is either drunk or high at events like these. She is a naturally shy, introverted person. I'm sick of people interpreting her natural uncomfortableness in a highly publicized environment as her being drunk or high. She said she's been sober for years and her stance on drugs has clearly changed a lot in her music. "Heroin" is the story of someone who lost it all to drugs. I fail to see why people think she's on drugs or drunk when there's no evidence to say that at all. In fact, I would suggest the tone she has taken on drugs as of late in her music reflects a very cautionary approach to drugs, painting them as irrelevant and dangerous destroyers of life. "It never was about the money or the drugs" (Religion) "I'm flying to the moon again, dreaming about heroin, and how it gave you everything and took your life away" (Heroin) Anyway, the look SLAYS and if you think otherwise, you're just plain wrong.

Wow did not see that one coming in a million years. Heard about this on the radio! Wtf

I would actually be down with Lana working with Jack Antonoff. Y'all complain about her working with Rick's repetitive production and Kieron's crusty-ass beats, but then hate the idea of her trying out another producer for once? Do you all forget that her best album (UV) was when she worked with a different producer (Dan Auerbach). Jack Antonoff has produced some really good music lately, especially St. Vincent's "Masseduction" and Lorde's "Melodrama"... I think he could definitely work well with Lana, especially if he is working alongside her and Rick as well.

I want an album full of the songs that Lana wants to make. Her happiness is more important than our greedy asses wanting her to be depressed forever and making sad songs
-
all I can say is why did he ruin such a good song with a fucking robot voice in the bridge, it's annoying af
-
bitch, YOU asleep... sleeping on her last albums
-
Honestly, I don't care what kind of album she's gonna make next, as long as it's good... Could be happy, sad... light, dark... folk, jazz, rock, surf noir, psychedelic, pop... Honestly, I couldn't care less. I just hope it's fresh and exciting. Oh, and she should work with a new producer
-
yas hunni, stan her best song. I'm not even kidding, it's one of my most played Marina songs

Stream No Tears Left to Cry Xx

Honestly, yeah Kanye is an asshole and a gross supporter of the Orange Cheeto, but twitter stans are so fucking dramatic and overreact so much. marina deleted the tweet and apologized, dont get what the problem is. Even if she were to keep it up on twitter it's not that much of a big deal. I personally am more annoyed at the fact that she financially supports Coachella - after all, the owner of Coachella is pro-gun, anti-abortion and anti-LGBTQIA+, and uses money from coachella to support 'charities' that share these views. That is more disturbing to me than some fucking ugly tweet about kanye west.

I love the sound of these songs. I hope the album won't be disappointing tho. I love Communion so so much but for some reason Sanctify just didn't really feel that exciting to me. Hopefully the rest of the album will be good, I mean those titles SLAY.

This thread is honestly the most annoying thread on all of LB... people calling each other twinks, leakers boasting about having songs that THEY ARE NEVER GOING TO LEAK (because they're annoying af), people slandering Charli and her label every 5 seconds even though she just released 2 popping masterpiece mixtapes. y'all are messy hoes.
