I actually, for once, agreed with a lot of his commentary about the albums. However, I fundamentally disagree with the placement of certain records. For example, Utopia and Vulnicura are, to me, two of her most cohesive and interesting works to date and I would personally have placed them as two of her best albums. I also think he's overstating the quality of Debut and especially Post - they are both fantastic albums but they are not as conceptual or cohesive as her other albums, and they don't have their own unique style in the way that her other records do, which makes them sort of like a mishmash of different styles. Post has a lot of amazing songs but personally the worst songs on this album are some of her all-time worst. Even with Biophilia, he admits that there are songs he doesn't enjoy that much and he wishes the instrumentation was more "grand", yet it ranks quite high in his list. Vespertine is my favourite album as well, and I would probably put Volta last too, but the biggest problem for me is how much he underrates Vulnicura and Utopia - two of her most creative albums ever. Also, what is it with him not mentioning the most beautiful song on Medúlla, AKA "Vökuro"??? I know it is a cover but that song is a masterpiece. And mess at him mispronouncing "Jóga" with a 'j' sound rather than 'y' sound. If I were to make a ranking it would be something like this: Vespertine > Vulnicura > Homogenic > Utopia > Medúlla > Debut > Post > Biophilia > Volta Honestly though, it is so so hard to rank her albums because as he states, the quality of all of her work is impeccable and there is not a single "bad" album.

    Dua Lipa

Queen of sounding identical to the studio recording in a live setting! Just wish this utilized the voices of the other singers. It would have been interesting to hear them having more of a prominent voice, but idk, maybe that's just because I stan half these women as well haha
  3. New song is pretty good. Wonder how it will fit into the wider concept of an album?
  4. For me, BAR is one of the best songs she's ever made. If she made a whole album of BARs and Roses Bloom For Yous I would be soooooo happy.
  5. why does INHA actually sound good over the top of the MPG instrumental tho???? mess.
  6. FUCK.... VOID HAS ME SHOOK! that song is fantastic! but tbh why a self-titled album? gross.

    Lily Allen

    Felony Floptinez is SHOOK!
  9. Full vid of Lana crying and addressing the stalker at her concert in Atlanta ;(
  10. Wow thank you for sharing this video. It was very interesting to watch and I thought the journalist did a good job at asking questions without being insensitive but still getting the answers. It had me tearing up near the end where Lily Allen was talking about how the system in the UK does not put much thought into people with these serious mental illnesses. It's especially sad how the mother of the stalker tried to alert authorities about her son's schizophrenia for 20 years and they didn't seem to care. I think Lily Allen's story reveals huge problems in the health care system and policing in the UK and it is a shame that leaders like Theresa May have done very little to address these problems, despite scrutiny from the public and even celebrities like Lily Allen sharing their experiences. I do hope that with publicity around these stories and further education one day these situations can be dealt with in more appropriate ways that focus on helping and caring for mentally disturbed individuals rather than just putting them behind bars and failing to address the underlying psychological problems that are apparent in these people. As Lily Allen said, it's not their fault they have these conditions so trying to blame them for their actions is highly ineffective. What needs to happen is proper treatment for these people so they can recognize what they have done wrong and work to avoid these things in the future. Thank you. I'm glad what I wrote was not totally nonsensical. You put it down very accurately, too.
  11. Anyone have a good site I could potentially watch this from?? please don't ban me
  12. While these people have done terrible things that in most cases are totally unforgivable, I do agree with you in the sense that prison and punishment is actually not the most effective method of dealing with people with these sorts of issues. I loved the platform that Hillary Clinton campaigned on in relation to prisons - she believes that putting low to mid-level criminals through psychotherapy and rehabilitation programs is better than just dumping them in a prison but not fixing their problems when they leave the institution. Obviously people deserve to be punished when they commit crimes and illegal acts, particularly things like this where there is malicious and violent intent, but prison by itself really doesn't solve the problem at all. These people will leave the prisons and potentially do the exact same things again without proper counselling and intervention. And for those with serious mental illnesses that are unable to be cured, such as severe schizophrenia, it's important they are placed in proper care rather than just released out to the world unchecked. It's a shame that Trump's desired method of dealing with all criminals is simply deporting them if they're 'illegals' or increasing their punishment and sentences. Yes, they deserve punishment, but what they really need is HELP, or they'll just repeat the same criminal acts again! Sorry to turn this political, as well, but I think it's really important people recognize situations like this are largely influenced by who is in power and how they deal with crime.
  13. I was thinking the same things, too. Actually, I was just surprised to see Guns and Roses on the list anywhere... I didn't know people actually listen to that song in any capacity
  14. if you're looking for another madonna drag watch this hahaha i also love the ending
  15. Wow, no need to drag the entire show just because one dude was an abusive idiot. Although it went downhill in the last few seasons, Glee should actually be praised for its positive and open representation of gay relationships as well as it touching upon and handling with sensitivity issues like school shootings, coming out, trans rights, mental illness, and suicide. Especially at a time when there was hardly any realistic representation of gay/bi/lesbian/trans characters on mainstream television and in films. No need to bash the show in its entirety. Yes, Mark Salling was a douche but I don't think the whole series should be discredited because of the disgusting choices one of the actors made.
  16. Wow, I'm so shocked at his suicide. I always found him to be a cocky narcissist in his interviews, but the child pornography charges were still quite surprising to me when it all came out. And now he's committed suicide. Such a tragic story, especially considering all the people whose lives were affected by this disgusting abuse of minors, and now his death. Hard to be upset at his suicide, though, considering what a horrible person he really was.
  17. Yeah, and Marina has already been recording for the last year with this new record, so surely she can't be recording for much longer than another year? That's what I'm trying to say, that by the end of the year she should be totally finished recording, if we're going by how long it took for FROOT. So I reckon it's not too unreasonable to expect a new song or two by the end of the year.
  18. If I remember correctly with FROOT, she actually recorded the album quite fast, didn't she? Remember that Instagram post she had with her orange cardigan and her sunnies, and then not too much longer later we started getting songs? The fact that she's actually getting ready to enter the 'production' phase soon means that we're actually getting closer to an album! Never thought I'd say it but I'm actually thinking we could get new music this year! Maybe not a whole album but I really think she's back in the mood of working on music again, which makes me so exccccittteedddd!!
  19. Wow wow wow, I stop reading this thread for like a month and come back to all of this Joanne slander!??? Let me educate y'all: 1. Joanne is a fantastic album 2. If Gaga wants to write more personal ballads rather than generic pop songs she has a right to 3. Said ballads tend to be much better than her generic pop anyway 4. Gaga is a living legend 5. This album was not, is not and will never be considered a "flop". She proved to the world that she can work in different genres and still do a great job and find commercial success.

honestly what does it matter whether he throws them away in public, or in private? either way, if he has nowhere to keep the flowers, how is he going to keep them? honestly some of y'all get offended by literally everything. he probably didn't know he was being photographed either.
