  1. Yasss found it http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/music/pop-rock/ultraviolence-deluxe-edition/702923 Fucking Australia though
  2. I do my hair up, all high and wide, white flowers, tie-dye --> "look @ me look @ me" lol I'm not saying Lana hasn't invited this criticism herself with some of her interviews but let's call it what it is and say Lana's always been this way and the supposed glory days aren't all that. It just seems like (not saying it is) this particular criticism is coming from a kind of disenchantment a lot of fans have with her current persona and a knee-jerk preference for anything ~nostalgic~ re critiquing a critique and people being fans of her lyrics: I just found it odd because these BB lyrics are so Lizzy in style and delivery, they just happen to include more tryhard references. So I could get behind an argument calling her tryhard but not one saying she doesn't try (or she used to be worlds better). lol if that makes sense Observe that disenchantment I mentioned I get you but that's a matter of opinion I think because the production is giving me everything.
  3. No but you guys really do too much about her lyrics. A verse like "Do you like my fake nails, daddy? / Black palm tree, pink tiger stripes / Used to go to the Comfort Inn, yeah / Will you buy me a slice of cherry pie?" would get ripped to shreds if we'd never heard it and it popped up in 2014 with her deep ass voice and big lips. But no she wuz Lizzy she wuz poor how cute she tried then (?). Not to say Paradise doesn't have some shit lyrics but Brooklyn Baby is not the battle to fight
  4. I mean what is this previous time you're so nostalgic for/does it even exist? 'Cause Brooklyn Baby is very in line with Lizzy tracks like Motel 6 or Stoplight De-Lite and the image-focused style she used then.
  5. Yeah you're right. Working on it. Think I will change the thread name to "Ultraviolence Pre-order Directory" so this can be the thread for all the versions that pop up...Objections anyone?
  6. West Coast was totally different sonically from anything she's released, but I kinda like how Ultraviolence and Shades of Cool both take good ol fashioned Lana strings and then mix them with some rock oriented psychedelic shit. Now I understand how she could possible compare it to MDM and Blue Jeans.
  7. Oh my god because it's a bonus track and she doesn't consider it as part of the album! We should be bowing to her for stimulating economies tbh. On that note, have we checked all country's iTunes links for new stuff? Japan often gets extras.
  8. I was gonna say this'll be the bad bitch jam but realized that'll probably be the whole album fuuuuuuuuuuck how am I supposed to wait any longer Jimmy's name debuts in her released material finally
  9. Right, and then SOC (obv tie to Black Beauty which is obv about Barrie due to them dating when Lana dyed her hair) brings in this element of him sleeping with other women and it seems like some kinda arrangement they have going? I mean get it Barrie buuuuut that's so weird I would not expect that So Lana may actually not be celebrating herself as the other woman in the Nina Simone cover but singing it's actual message?
  10. When (s)he calls, (s)he calls for me and not for you SOC is giving me open relationship teas. I hope she sucked Dan Auerbach tbh
  11. I distinctly hear "unfixable" rather than "invincible", which makes more sense with her trying to break through to his world (what can I do to turn you on or get through to you?)
  12. The quality of the snippet in the OP is literally heaven-sent, they better have gotten a full video.
  13. Ughhhh I'm literally reacting like obscene tweens in celebrity mentions on twitter Fuck me til I bleed you beautiful beautiful bitch
  14. Embrace Lana ha lounge singer era! I love how this song swells like Million Dollar Man. Such a life-giving effect in both songs. Yet as apt as some comparisons have been, it still feels like a total departure. The unintelligible bridge is especially cool.
  15. DID I HEAR "JIM" "HE HIT ME AND IT FELT LIKE A KISS" HOW DARE THIS VIDEO STOP BEFORE THE CLIMAX
  16. This is like the vocal track of the album, I can tell V throwback. 50s melody/chorus, kinda 70s production? Slay.
  17. Bless ha generosity Response track to Summertime Sadness tbh
  18. Thirteen demos. And then she must have written Florida Kilos (the 14th) with Dan So I think we can assume Dan didn't touch the outtakes (like AFFA)
  19. And the omission of TOW pretty much confirms it's a cover, yeah? Sad that Florida Kilos is the only song she wrote with Dan Auerbach. But I'm excited to hear new writing teams, like her with Blake and her with Barrie. Hopefully will fill the void Justin Parker left. Also she's never done anything with Greg Kurstin, right? Am I the only one who wants Barrie vocals on Brooklyn Baby?
  20. So no flower crown Definitely nothing too fussy. Just go backtothabasics.mp3. Usually not so hot that jeans are a problem, as the real problem is more in the torso region, you know? I only insist you wear good sturdy shoes. It's not really violent, just pushy. Unless you have long hair. And BTD takes a signature better than Paradise with that light shade, especially if she'll just be taking some audience member's black Sharpie and going down the line. Remember to have her sign the booklet, not the jewel case! Have fun~
  21. I get this, and there's no denying that this era is extremely successful. But can she accomplish the same in the future? Will she take the same tactics? Idk I don't see it as measuring up to her standard, not that I'm really rooting for her to fail.
  22. Miley, really? I mean, even she admits that she's capitalizing on controversy and gimmicks...
  23. Isn't it a good thing she has devoted fans like you who can't stop talking about her then
