i was literally shaking in my boots when she revealed ADIAML. whew what a moment in time

i heard someone say how there was a sound of running hooves in the Metallic Stallion snippet. i didn’t notice it at first but now that i do it’s a little too loud and distracting i fear she’s being too literal sometimes with the production. i swear if she’s going to use sword sound effects on Samurai… i think it would have been more cool if there was a beat that mimicked the hooves or even the hooves themselves morphing *into* a beat instead of being prevelant behind it, but that’s just me

oh i definitely have high hopes for this album. based on the leaked snippets it might just be better than ADIAML by a small margin which is a good sign tbh. we’re heading in the right direction!

i thought mayhem was very boring besides maybe garden of eden. i am so sorry

it’s more so just a vibe the song may give based on the title alone. it’s also sort of a way to be more connected to it and elicit more excitement for an album. i remember when L+F came out i was a sophomore in high school and i was really looking forward to it.. i claimed No More Suckers because the title made it seem like it would be be this very boppy charli xcx nod or something (purely based off delusion ofc). Lord how i was wrong

honestly i took ADIAML for granted when it first came out… i love ADIAML so much now when revisiting it. esp the title track PHEW. and the ballads are very cute, too. the clunky lyrics and overly political messages in it don’t bother me whatsoever for some reason anymore. though i do skip man’s world. the bridge between man’s world and the second single was too long my brain believes it’s not cohesive enough if i were to include it in my listens. the title track is just so fun and groovy

they literally just hate Marina it serves no purpose to ask. but let’s be real. this is very Merna. only Merna would think to write music like this so there is soul, humanity behind it even… i can’t wait. truly

well power and control was the second official single and it only has double the streams of the forgotten song hypocrates if it was an official single i can see it having the same amount or be even more popular. it’s a beautiful track. the beginning is an ear worm. i also find it very scary lol. it reminds me of a halloween bop in a way because of a couple of the verses, namely the one before the chorus i think?

i don’t think that would happen tbh… i can imagine them making a 2000s nelly furtado-esque or britney pop song together. so close to what was just that. and word on the street says her album is called Mood Board or something and each song is a nod to a bunch of different artists and eras. for example aquamarine —> ray of light. it would make a lot of sense! personally so close to what isn’t very basic, it’s very good
