you got your hopes high thinking bout it most nights put me on a pedestal cause my love's incredible (dont wait up for me)
-
I dont know anything for sure but I'm assuming the Crash leak being on there made Warner/Atlantic file like a mass DMCA takedown
-
the album itself never really connected with me because to me it just felt like her trying to recreate the Pop 2 formula with AG and idk that album and era just felt to me like she was kind of lost. The songs aren't bad but it just felt like very bland to me as a whole, even though the songs are good. idk? no hate to those who love it though, its just my personal feelings about it
-
Not really. All we got is that Used to Know Me is a label favorite for a single down the road.
-
True Romance a little too low on some of your discography rankings
-
Sometimes I think some of her fans are actually just SOPHIE & AG fans who just see her as a vessel for those two's songs which is why theyre comfortable being so disrespectful and foul to her online.

its the xylophone-y sounds in it When we get the Lightning live performance in HD on Gossip Girl and the normies start streaming
-
its possible huck took them them after the breakup because she travels so much. or someone is watching them at her house while shes running around. she hasnt been posting much personal stuff since the album was announced

We're operating under the impression that Move Me was produced by Ian Kirkpatrik & Jason Evigan right?
-
The way everything this era has been excellent I truly do not get the hate. It seems like a lot of people of the people saying it's bad made up their minds about it way before they even heard it imo.

The recording academy hearing the "i used to be your angel, now im walking out the door" line in Used to Know Me when it's up for both SOTY & ROTY

Caved and listened to the leak yesterday and thought it was good but also felt a little let down as some of the songs felt like they never quite got to that huge moment., I re-listened today with fresh ears and it clicked for me and like front to back the album is soooooooo solid. I know a lot of her fans are upset that she's not going to continue making the same songs with AG over and over and over again, but like just because the album isn't what you wanted from her does not make it bad. Its an extremely fresh take on todays pop landscape and at it's core is just a load of fun, so I get why that would be really hard for some of her shut in stans to enjoy. Used to Know Me is soooooo fun and has massive hit potential for an early summer/post-COVID wave hit. I'm happy @Dima said its a label favorite, I hope they push it as a single a week or two after the album drops (i dont want the album drop to overshadow the single release).

One of her best songs I fear
-
so do we think the deluxe album tweet was a troll?
-
Omg the old Lock You Up live outro (did we ever get a studio of that?)
-
Agreed. The energy on those songs is so incredible. Her work with the Invisible Men is insane. I remember rushing home to watch this live! Goooooooooood

True Romance is actually one of my favorite albums of all time. I found her sometime in early 2012 and the whole time she was releasing music I just thought everything she touched was so cool and different. It was such a formative time for me. And then to see her open for marina and her solo TR tour in 2013, really just like solidified all those songs for me. In my mind, they're classics.
-
someone on twitter mentioned her schedule would be open for the Chromatica tour which as of now does not have announced openers.
-
Im sorry this album is sooooooooooooo major. I get that it's not her most experimental era ever but I love that it's like her playing with her writing to fit the landscape rather than changing the landscape to fix her. This is kind of the album I've always wanted from her, like an album of pitches to major label artists, but mixed and mastered.
-
I'm mad she's only been doing those posters in the UK store, I wanted that Baby poster so effing bad
-
bummed that demos are leaking but it's pretty close to the release date so i dont think it will really effect her sales negatively. I keep praying that those vinyl are still on schedule so the physicals count.
-
she wont have the budget but i wish she's do an album commercial like Dua did for Future Nostalgia, it would fit the era's visuals/theme so well
