thats so good to hear! like can we just take a moment to acknowledge that this thread is a few months under a decade old and the amount of music we have gotten from her and the journey as a whole has been such a wild ride and im so proud of her like truly not many artists get to have a journey like this when they're on a major label and i really speaks to her resiliency as an artist and her work ethic. Idk not to be corny but I feel like i've grown up with her since finding her in 2012, it feels so good to watch her have this great moment i'm truly so proud!!!!!!

I feel like the fact that Atlantic is letting her do a deluxe and has a plan to let her continue promoting the era makes it seem like shes resigning with them or another WMG label

I frankly think it would be kind of dumb for her to go independent after spending the last decade fighting the major label system to allow her to release music quickly, authentically, and on her own terms, only to turn around and go independent right at the moment when the major label system has caught up to her and now wants artists who work quickly, release quickly, and write their own music. The only reason would be if they offered her a really bad deal, but I think it's in WMG's best interest to keep her around which is why I think she'll stay in that family of labels.

She mentioned that there was the question "Will I go independent, or will i sign with a major label" but never once has she hinted that she actually planned on going independent.

She's said about a million times over the past 2 years that she would hate being independent because she hates having to spend time on the business aspect of things so I don't know why you all keep thinking that will happen
