Loved Erotic Electronic since she did it live, but heard it out last night dancing and lost my mind like its for the clubs
-
Yeah it really seemed like he and Kim had already had a personal falling out around the Slut Pop era and then Republic told her the leaks came from him
-
I love the cover, it's gorgeous. It feels sooooo validating that these songs are finally being released, and probably like a massive weight off Kim's shoulders. I hope this means her and Aaron can make up in some way, they really worked so well together.
-
Why they held Problematiqué, a light-dancey warm weather album until Sept 2023 and released FTB, a much heavier, imo winter album in June 2023 is beyond me. Republic screwed her so hard.

Exactly exactly Still holding onto the lip of hope that it was sold to a DJ and that it will come out another way

you guys are really so weird, jw anderson is literally known for doing a tom of finland print collection of course they're going to channel that style into their ready-to-wear.

The venue has also been offering this "Fast Lane Upgrade" for early entrance for several concerts for a $15 add-on. Possible they will offer this for Lana and you would be able to add on at any time https://concerts.livenation.com/event/16005E7D874A12E5?_gl=1*1rsdulu*_gcl_au*MTM2NjAxNjM3NS4xNjkyNjIyMDA2*_ga*MTI0OTcyNzc2Ni4xNjkyNjIyMDA4*_ga_H1KKSGW33X*MTY5MjYzMTAxNC4yLjEuMTY5MjYzMTAyMy4wLjAuMA..&_ga=2.148842167.1820510380.1692622008-1249727766.1692622008

The Venue can be hellish to get to if you don't know what you're doing. There's multiple ways to get to it, but everyone takes one way and it bottlenecks. I'd say if youre going in the morning you're fine and if you're not just research alternate routes if you're driving in from Pittsburgh. The venue has maps on their site. NYC/NJ/Philly people better not buy up the tickets and then try to resell last minute when they decide they actually can't go, I'm gonna be mad I've been waiting over a decade to see her and have waited until she came here because it never worked out other places.

I'm kinda mad she's not on a bigger label since she's washing Ava Max and Kim Petras in the album department this year like if they got video budgets for those kitchen sink a&r'd to death albums I think Slayyyter should get at least one real video. She's pulled 10x more cohesive of a sound (and imagery) this era than both of the former with probably a third of the resources. EDIT: And I mean this all as a former hater of her music, I thought (at the time) the mixtape was really gimmick-y, biting ay*sha tracks and that she wasn't serious about music, but she's really shown that she's serious and willing to put the work in and it's paid off. Each era has been an improvement on the last and I think she can just keep topping herself if she keeps this up.
-
I hope she's not upset and realizes that its just a bunch of spergy pop music fans trying to obsessively categorize their unreleased collections into eras. We love the music regardless <3
-
Hi Slayyyter!!!! Anyways she deleted it but tweeted that she reads forums and that Plastic (and TMO) was always meant for this album even if it was written awhile ago (and that it was written post-mixtape).

Its arbitrary semantics, especially in the streaming age but my understanding is: Promo Single - A song released individually, sometimes they don't even make the final cut of the album tracklist. Sometimes they have videos but more commonly not. The song is offered to radio (typically offshoots like Adult Contemporary Radio or Indie stations) but not Top 40 radio. This can occur before the album is released or after it's out, in between offical "Singles" Pre-release track: A product of the digital mp3 marketplace when fans could be instantly delivered tracks on albums that were pre-ordered. This could be an official single or a promo single, and even in some cases was just a random song from the album. Official Single - Are the songs chosen by the label to lead and direct the album's promotional campaign. Again, in the streaming age this gets blurry as single's don't always get music videos and things can be changed by labels at the last minute (Originally Need to Know by Doja Cat was supposed to be a pre-release, promo single but it did so well on the charts that it overshadowed the second single release of You Right w/ The Weeknd so they just serviced it to radio and called it the "third single").
-
Has that even been filmed? Seems like she's on hold until her label recoups funds or until a the David Guetta collab is released
-
Was it? I thought they were both pre-release tracks and they just switched them because she wants Miss Belladonna to have it's shine as a "single" and then ILH right before the album. I guess I'm bias because I love EE and I think pre-release track/promo single is the perfect place for it.
-
who said it's a single? its just a pre-release promo track.
-
Is it possible that Spring Breakers isn't for her album but is for one of the movie projects (not Mother Mary) that she's working on. Maybe dont leak it.
-
Miami show allegedly cancelled

This probably makes me a bad fan but Speed Drive gaining momentum makes me nervous. I don't really love the song (personal opinion, i know this isn't the general opinion) and I'm nervous if it starts to get big we might have her label back to finger f*cking her albums/releases to death.
-
I love Charli but she's nowhere near the insane amount of fans (specifically in eastern europe/western asia, where those those unofficial presses originate) as Lana and Kanye.
-
We don't know lmao, thats whats so insane about you idiots. Legal discovery in the Kesha case showed she signed that deal in 2005, almost half a decade before Luke even had Kemosabe set up at RCA. Aaron was signed to Rx and was working with Luke as early as 2013 and was bringing Kim (a friend) around.
