Well, if I could make one bet about the upcoming video is that will not be any monologue in it. I think that she spent all her monologue slots with Tropico so we all can stay calm about it

Francesco is no Barrie. He's from a wealthy family, well connected in the showbiz and fashion industry. He'll not have an direct musical influence on her as Barrie had but in he visual department he can help out. Since Tropico she was sub-par with her videos it's time for her to come back with some killer visuals for HM

I observed that Francesco was with her all the time on the tour so far. I think that he is involved with her tour and possibly more. The stage is gorgeous and I think that he was the creative mind behind it. I found a YT video with the whole Houston show and I must say that was the first time when I was amazed with her performance. She was confident, patient, she didn't rushed through songs, the whole performance felt rehearsed, her vocals were consistently on point. I gave up on her regarding live performances but this show gave me hope. So maybe Francesco has some good influence on her and she'll be more confident regarding her performances. I remeber a picture with them when she showed Francesco a selfie on her phone and she was visibly upset with her appearance and Francesco tried to comfort her. So, maybe they have plan for HM

I have a feeling that she will start the new era at the Governors Ball. It's a Coachella level show and I think that she'll release the new single in the same way she did with WC, live and then the video. She completely barred the press on her tour so far, I never witnessed such a quiet online media when Lana is on something. Maybe this is good for her confidence, knowing that the press won't harass her while she's on tour, but I have a feeling that the press is slowly turning away from her (I mean the online media because the mainstream media is not interested in her since 2012). She said once that she likes the things to be quiet so after 3 years she can get there

I hope that's not the case. It's one thing to strive for daddies (her aged lolita shtick) but to frolic with dumb boys who are 10 years younger than her would be a let down (at least for me), especially if the music has no depth or some interesting twist to it. Maybe she'll sing about the female mid-life crisis, that would be interesting and in that case watching young boys playing sports make some sense. That would be her feminist spin on her message: from "be my daddy" we'll get "come to dirty mommy".

UV was explained by her in the same nonsensical way "west coast vibe and east coast vibe done in the middle". But UV was much more coherent than that and somewhat personal but she just shied away from it. I really hoped that she'll do something even more coherent on HM and she will explain it properly to put an end to the stupid interpretations of her music. She has now the experience of BTD where she said to little and somewhat incoherently and she said that on UV she went to far. It's time for her to deliver her masterpiece

It's a chance that something will happen soon: One of the boys that was featured in her video spilled the tea on instagram that he is the main guy playing a lot of sports but he cannot say anything else cause mom will get angry. So the video is ready and nobody shots a video just to be released months later. Lana's mom tweeted recently that great things are coming (last year Rob was teasing). So we have the tour, some tea spilled by her and others, we have the confirmation for the video, therefore I think that we'll witness again the WC release during her last tour and maybe 2-3 additional singles. I expect that she'll release the album during the summer (June or July) when the chart and TV performance pressure is lower.

The lyrics are well inside in the usual LDR (overused) themes. Bad news for the critical assessment. I would like it better without those blvd name droppings. Have those blvds names any significance? "But you don't go cause truly there's nobody for you but me" "We both know the history of violence that surrounds you" "There are guns that blaze around you" "It's no wonder every man in town had neither fought nor found you" - the same bad, outcast man (no current or former boyfriends fits this image so must be some hidden desire of hers) "Our honeymoon Say you want me too Say you want me too Dark blue" - tbh the chorus is pretty weak and with little significance in the narrative of the song "There are violets in your eyes" - Pls. someone explain to me the possible significance of this "There are roses in between my thighs and fire that surrounds you" - beautiful imagery that describes the love between her and the bad boy I'll wait for the whole song to make a judgement on it but this is not what I expected from HM (BTD and UV has better lyrics than this, I have a slim hope that maybe is fake)
