I have a feeling this will be Lana's most critically acclaimed era considering HM is just an album opener and got so much acclaim from contemporary critics.

I'm speculating that it will either be a song or an interlude w/ instrumental. She has writing credits so she's clearly splicing her own words with the poem; other than that it's mystery along with everything else from this era.

I feel like the reason it feels like Azealia delays her music is because she announces her projects soon after she starts them and gives herself unrealistic dates to finish.

and she said HM reflects the beginning and end of the record so maybe the records starts out slow but gradually picks up tempo as you go down the track list

I don't think she ever mentioned anything about HM being the closing track, but that would be cool if it were reinvented to close the album

I knew what they were referencing, but, like you said, scatting is vocal improvisation, while ad-libbing is vocal impelishment and is usually used during vocal runs
