  1. Same, I love Bowie more than anyone in this world, I'm so happy Lana references Space Oddity
  2. Didn't someone here say that Honeymoon is a less personal album and more about her observations about other people/stuff? That cover would make sense then, she's not in the focus but is just an observer
  3. Wait, Ground Control to Major Tom? Omg Bowie reference. My life is made
  4. I'd be ok with this cover if it wasn't for the ugly dark red+dark blue colours
  5. Ok it seems like she has taken inspiration from art deco for this album, with the pastel colours (no pastels on this album cover tho naw), the font and the song Art Deco
  6. Maybe Terrance Loves You is about a fan's obsessive love for their fave You know, stalking outside their home, trespassing into their backyard
  7. She could name her songs on the album Track 1, Track 2, Track 3 and I wouldn't care, I just want to hear new music
  8. God, some of Lana's fans are so pretentious And Bowie in fact had 3 concept albums (The Rise And Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars, Diamond Dogs, and 1. Outside).
  9. I love it so much when 'Lights, camera, accion' kicks in and Lana runs out of the room and down the stairs. And I love her expression after she shoots the helicopter. Flawless video
  10. https://instagram.com/p/6VF1Oplnvl/ Didn't know where else to post this, but I love the Andy Warhol reference

  12. So I just had a wild thought, what if 'High By The Beach' alludes to this scene in Fellini's 8 ½ I remember reading somewhere that Lana got her inspiration for a more surreal approach for Honeymoon from Fellini, so I'm anxious to hear the song and see the music video to find out whether it's just another song about getting high or something more surreal and intricate
  13. Check the third page of this thread
  14. I love Ultraviolence so much but I'm glad to finally move on properly to the next era.. I mean we have Honeymoon yeah but I never felt like the new era began when it was released
  15. The pastel colours and the sea etc are giving me a Miami vibe Let's hope the video is inspired by Scarface or sth
  16. I don't like that live snippet, it sound basic as hell... hopefully Lana's vocals will make the song better
  17. Since she will be in V magazine in September, it would make sense that Honeymoon would come out then too
  18. I'm probably reaching here but I was watching this video of Pamela Courson and I noticed a vague similarity to the video of Lana we see in the Honeymoon audio video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GYhKGn9Zkw Plus the photo of Lana and Neil that was recently posted reminded me of some of the photos of Pamela and Jim, for example this one Like I said, I'm probably reaching
  19. Lana obviously draws a lot of inspiration from the past but I feel like she often only does that because she likes its aesthetics. As a person who has loved the 20th century for years before I even discovered Lana, I cannot help but be put off by her just taking stuff from the past and applying it to her as it fits her. Although I can see that she genuinely likes some musicians of the past, e.g. Nina Simone.
