This is the interview where we first heard about Waterfall: http://www.thebeatjuice.com/2017/03/17/hit-machine-read-interview-charli-xcx-paris-hilton/ It was also the first time Good Girls was confirmed, since we had only heard of it earlier when registered as ‘Good Girls Don’t Do This Type Of Stuff’.
-
Panic was scrapped, right? I’m not implying anything butttt...
-
No, I see what you mean! I wasn’t referring to you, I was referring to the member who suggested she claimed to have written Ocean Eyes. I just mentioned Watch because it’s the only other song written solely by Finneas. (Speaking of, I think Watch is registered under Finneas’ name as ‘Watch Your Car Burn’. Could be his demo before Billie recorded it?)
-
Ooh, can you share it, just for curiosity’s sake? Is it ‘like it like that’? Just guessing based off of the lyrics
-
Oh, speaking of Finneas, he confirmed the other day that ‘when the party’s over’ will be on the album and that the album is still coming this year!
-
Yeah! He releases his own music, tours with Billie, he’s the male voice in the background of Hostage, etc.

I literally replied right under your post. Sorry if it was that hard to follow. And yeah, no, she never said that. Here’s 5 interviews where she says Finneas wrote the song: https://www.vogue.com/article/billie-eilish-pops-next-it-girl/amp https://www.teenvogue.com/story/how-billie-eilishs-ocean-eyes-turned-her-into-an-overnight-sensation/amp https://www.harpersbazaar.com/culture/art-books-music/a13040159/billie-eilish-interview/ https://www.thelineofbestfit.com/features/interviews/billie-eilish-avocado-queen-interview https://www.wmagazine.com/story/billie-eilish-new-ep/amp

Billie has definitely never claimed to have written Ocean Eyes... she says in every interview how Finneas wrote it and would play it constantly, so she already knew all the words when Finneas thought it would be a good song for her to record. And she originally only recorded the song to use as a number with her dance teacher. Finneas also wrote Watch on his own, which is why Billie felt like it was too old and didn’t even want it on the EP. Everything else on the EP was written by the both of them.

Don’t forget that note on the cover art of OHDH that we’ll probably never get an explanation of... I love Mistake so much! It’s easily my top pick in terms of old songs I’d like to see be reworked. It’s so simply written but in a good way.

That Cure snippet is just from her Snapchat or Instagram story. She was singing it in like an underground parking lot. Edit: nevermind someone posted it lol
-
Did Charli actually record Kim Petras’ Heart To Break? Do we have a snippet of it?
-
It was what SlowGinFizz quoted on the last page; that CollXtion III will be out later this spring.
-
I don’t know about ACE specifically, but it was registered quite a few months ago along with Kid Wonder and The Other Side, which probably turned into Troye’s The Good Side, so I think all 3 are Troye’s songs (whether they get used or not).
-
Yeah, I thought the exact same thing! I could see it coming out this year, but not that early... hopeful but not getting my hopes up!
-
Not sure but Allie does follow them so hopefully it’ll come to fruition!
-
https://instagram.com/p/BfOtzweBBTp/ Oh?
-
She is on a soundtrack for a Netflix original called Sierra Burgess Is A Loser. Leland & Bram Inscore are doing the score and Allie is contributing to it (we don’t know if it’s 1 song or more). I think that song ‘Boyfriend’ co-written by Troye that was registered last year may have to do with it.

Someone literally mentioned the possibility of a release on the previous page. And it seems every other day someone mentions how Round and Round was removed from SoundCloud or the Exchange tracks were removed from YouTube so “it must mean they’re being released”... it’s obviously not that obvious. I’m just trying to avoid people continuously getting their hopes up.
-
Just a friendly reminder that copyright strikes mean nothing when it comes to the release of a song. Atlantic and co. own the rights to Charli’s material, and that means they can take down songs whether it’s material that’s been officially released, leaked online, or performed live. Websites have systems to detect songs (I guess through some sort of database) to remove songs when they can, or they could just be found and reported/removed. Some live videos sound better than others, and that’s why some are removed and some aren’t (if it’s a muffled mess, it isn’t going to be detected). Same thing can apply to unreleased songs or official material that’s been edited. What I’m saying is that Round and Round and Taxi or whatever song it is may be removed from SoundCloud for the next 50 years but it doesn’t mean they’re suddenly going to be released. Charli and her label and her publishers still own the rights to those songs regardless.

Cybiko said she recorded her own demo.
-
I think she once clarified that the Heavy Metal Heart teaser was some sort of collaboration with MTV (or something like that) and not an actual music video.
-
There was definitely a part 2 planned; she once did some sort of livestream and said she’d make sure we get it (lol). I think she would’ve used Pretty Dull and I’m Not Alright, as well as another outtake, a Ghost track, and another remix maybe?

Could someone please reupload those 4 tracks that leaked on Christmas for me? I believe they were High On Helium (HQ), Kiss My Beauty, The Moment and another version of Bounce. Also, I remember there was a SoundCloud that posted some LQ tracks like Love Me and Summer Loving that were gone before I could get them. Could someone please reupload those as well?
-
She did a partnership with Much Music (believe it or not) and 5 Gum where she made a song in the studio with an up-and-coming singer/songwriter. I caught the commercial on TV this morning. Full video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P0epHo_nfPM

Oh wow, where’d she say this? That’s the song I’ve most been waiting for!
