I totally missed this when the interview came out, but she recently said this: We know you like gold chains. What’s the heaviest amounts of chains that you’ve worn, and how did it affect your ergonomics? It was actually a week and half ago! I was shooting a video for a song I have coming out with Khalid for sometime next month, I have no idea? We were filming the video, and we’re both wearing pounds of chains. I mean he’s wearing a couple, and I’m wearing a thousand pounds of silver - heavy f*cking chains. I would go to the bathroom and people would be like, ‘are you ok?’ They drift one way, and I’d suddenly be walking the other way. It wasn’t even just around my neck, it was around my neck, my arm, over my feet, draping all around me. I mean when you do wear them around your neck (daily), there’s a trigger point behind your neck that alters your mental state The song is called ‘lovely’.

Did she confirm that somewhere?
-
It was released for free late last year (or whenever that was) to coincide with her tour announcement but I guess she’s just gonna make it officially available now.
-
Also, I guess it’s worth mentioning that ‘bitches broken hearts’ was added to PPL meaning it should be coming to iTunes/Spotify/etc. this Friday or maybe next Friday.
-
Oh wow, thank you! I love this! Sounds so different from her usual stuff.
-
My bad! I thought they were talking about Stargate before Track 10 was even mentioned so I was obviously a little surprised, but I don’t have Apple Music so I couldn’t go back and listen.
-
Yeah but before she mentioned Track 10, she said Unlock It was originally Stargate as well (which is why she mentioned Blame It On Your Love). I know they aren’t credited for Unlock It as it stands on Pop 2 but she said that they produced AND co-wrote the demo, or at least that’s what I heard. Maybe she just re-wrote whatever they had a part in (or Jay/Kim did) or she just took their writing credit off along with their production credit after it was re-done since AG made a half-joking/half-snarky comment about their writing credit on Track 10 lol.
-
She just said on Beats 1 that Unlock It was originally co-written and produced by Stargate, and then briefly mentioned how Track 10 was originally Blame It On Your Love (and how Stargate didn’t even remember the song when Charli decided to revamp it lol).
-
Oh wow, there’s a new song titled ‘Nostalgia’ on PPL, with a length of 3:47. Since it’s on PPL it should be out within a few weeks!
-
That’s Benny Blanco lol he’s a music producer. He co-produced Lana’s ‘Love’, for example.
-
She’s been covering it during her live shows for quite some time now so I guess this is a cool way of getting a studio version... assuming it even is studio? I guess it could just be a professionally-recorded live version or whatever.
-
She’s releasing a remix of ‘my boy’, probably this Friday, called ‘MyBoi (TroyBoi Remix)’.
-
‘Bittersweet Devotion’ is actually called ‘I Pray For Rain’, which is what she was alluding to in that post with “prayers for rain”.
-
Maybe the writing camp for Pop The Balloons was pre-organized and the sessions in January are when Charli personally reached out to SOPHIE to work on Charli’s own material.
-
Which one is that? I wanna check it out
-
I can’t confirm it myself but yeah, that’s what they say. Supposedly it was a writing camp for Little Mix in Sweden and SOPHIE was invited.
-
Technically she did start working with SOPHIE before Sucker because they did the writing camp for Pop The Balloons In September of 2014 (according to the leakers or whatever).

I thought it could be nice to compile a list of potential album tracks? - Another Stupid Song - Bad Company - Daddy - Jupiter - Let Me Know - Limbo - Listen - Lovely (feat. Khalid) - Panic - See-Through - True Blue - When The Party's Over - Winner This is just in alphabetical order and without stylization (e.g. 'Listen' is actually 'l i s t e n', and probably all/most of these will be in lowercase again?) When The Party's Over was confirmed for the album and I think True Blue may have been as well. We also know Lovely is coming out soon so that's likely to be on the album. On the other hand, I'd imagine songs like Another Stupid Song and Panic have been scrapped. Of course, the EP tracks and/or BBH could be used as well. I left off Wish You Were Gay because I doubt it'd be released lol. Let me know if I'm missing anything!

This is the interview where we first heard about Waterfall: http://www.thebeatjuice.com/2017/03/17/hit-machine-read-interview-charli-xcx-paris-hilton/ It was also the first time Good Girls was confirmed, since we had only heard of it earlier when registered as ‘Good Girls Don’t Do This Type Of Stuff’.
-
Panic was scrapped, right? I’m not implying anything butttt...
-
No, I see what you mean! I wasn’t referring to you, I was referring to the member who suggested she claimed to have written Ocean Eyes. I just mentioned Watch because it’s the only other song written solely by Finneas. (Speaking of, I think Watch is registered under Finneas’ name as ‘Watch Your Car Burn’. Could be his demo before Billie recorded it?)
-
Ooh, can you share it, just for curiosity’s sake? Is it ‘like it like that’? Just guessing based off of the lyrics
-
Oh, speaking of Finneas, he confirmed the other day that ‘when the party’s over’ will be on the album and that the album is still coming this year!
-
Yeah! He releases his own music, tours with Billie, he’s the male voice in the background of Hostage, etc.
-
I literally replied right under your post. Sorry if it was that hard to follow. And yeah, no, she never said that. Here’s 5 interviews where she says Finneas wrote the song: https://www.vogue.com/article/billie-eilish-pops-next-it-girl/amp https://www.teenvogue.com/story/how-billie-eilishs-ocean-eyes-turned-her-into-an-overnight-sensation/amp https://www.harpersbazaar.com/culture/art-books-music/a13040159/billie-eilish-interview/ https://www.thelineofbestfit.com/features/interviews/billie-eilish-avocado-queen-interview https://www.wmagazine.com/story/billie-eilish-new-ep/amp
