So, the reason we didn't get the acoustic Genesis is because we're getting an acoustic Scared To Be Lonely instead.
-
The DM saying Running and Dreams were scrapped was made by a fan - it was posted on April Fools.
-
In regards to what was on her Instagram story, she posted a video of herself singing along to Guardian in her kitchen sink (calling it an "echo chamber" lol), and in the background, you could hear the actual studio version of Guardian playing. @HEARTCORE - It was just the snippet of One Way To Heaven that Eclipse leaked a while back. Edit: I just checked and the Guardian snippet is still there...?
-
Also, I don't know if it was posted here, but Carly confirmed in an interview (that I can't find) that Cut To The Feeling was originally on Emotion Side B (and therefore, it was considered for Emotion, obviously); she actually offered up the track because she knew the film was looking for soundtrack material. Knowing that might sting a little bit if we never get the full track lol!
-
They have not been released yet, but the film doesn't come out in the US until April, so they could be released then.
-
Mixtape tracks are now showing up when Shazammed via the snippets. Mixtape title: "Number 1 Angel" Confirmed tracks (so far): - Dreamer (feat. Starrah & Raye) - 3AM (Pull Up) [feat. MØ] - Roll With Me - Lipgloss (feat. CupcakKe) - Blame It On You
-
Do you know the names of the songs being traded?
-
I don't recall her ever saying there'd be 15? It was always 10, and on a few occasions, she mentioned possibly extending that amount.
-
She commented: "Hey kids, thanks for listening- it's OK that it leaked, because like I wrote it up there, it really does come down to love and the intentions behind the music. That's why this is the perfect first single, because this one is for you and I luv you."

Agreed. At least leave Roll With Me alone!
-
No, what I mean is that I think she meant all of the features on the album (whether that's 6 or 7 or whatever) are with women, not that ALL ten songs have features, which is how some people are interpreting it.
-
Maybe I'm wrong, but I interpreted it as her saying that every collab on the mixtape is with a woman, not that every song has a collab...?
-
It's for sure not on the album and 99.99% likely not on the mixtape either.
-
Yeah, in a Periscope on Thursday. It's super minor, you can hear it before the last chorus in the Jimmy Kimmel performance. @National Anthem no problem!
-
Yay!! Check out the rest of the Vroom Vroom EP then; it's fantastic. And you'll like the vibe of her upcoming mixtape and album as well.
-
Currently, there is no studio version of it, and while it's not confirmed, she probably won't be releasing it any time soon. I'd recommend Vroom Vroom and Trophy though, they have a similar vibe.
-
I think Hey Boy Hey Girl may end up on the album, but I don't think we'll get the other 4 under 'others'. Just guessing, though.

Lana was asked in an interview if the song was about Azealia and she said no, and that she had no idea why people would think that. She said it's about "kids that go out every night" or something like that.
-
She played Pretty Dull there as well, which is like the most tragic thing of all.
-
"The latter" is referring to True Love Is Violent...?
-
I Love The Garbage for CX2...? I don't really see that

"X-Ray Spex" (which is the correct spelling of the song for anyone wondering) was co-written with Allan Grigg and Jacob Hindlin. Likely produced by them as well, or at least by the former. 2010 or 2011, I don't remember exactly. And I'm not 100% sure, but I remember people saying "Bottles" was done with Jarrad Rodgers? And it was from 2014 if I'm remembering correctly.
