tbh i dont really get all the outrage Lana's features post-2017 have been backing vocals many times (Borns, Cat Power, Jonathan Wilson), and Taylor isn't known to give her female peers a verse (think Soon Youll Get Better, No Body No Crime...), so this was to be expected tbh

well, well... i expected her to only do backing vox, so im not too disappointed. its still an incredibly pretty song& lana's moans are so etheral omg

who said these women have to be housewives? have you even watched some of the shows? most of these women aren't even housewives. most are working moms and some are not moms at all. they even call the husbands "househusbands" at the reunions, its just a term they chose in relation to Desperate Housewives

I am OBSESSED with the real housewives - I started watching in 2020 during the first covid lockdowns, since Netflix just uploaded the first two seasons of Beverly Hills. And that's how I stumbled down the rabbit hole. So far I have watched these franchises: Potomac Salt Lake City New York Sydney Beverly Hills Auckland (In order of most favorite to least favorite) I've also started watching Melbourne & Atlanta, but have only seen the first season of these two franchises. I've also watched Dubai until episode 6 or so, but it was soo boring. RN I'm watching OC and just started season 3. It's so funny how different Housewives was in it's early stages. Early OC is sooo terrifying, all these children are horrible, horrible, horrible. I'm so pissed they essentially cancelled New York, though. I feel like the new cast is gonna be terrible. Apparently they're announcing the reboot at today's WWHL taping?

happy birthday to my favorite record of all time <3 i was only 17 years old when Lana released Honeymoon. And funnily enough, I was right in my Honeymoon phase of my first ever relationship. Sometimes I still think about how I would take the train to see my ex-boyfriend, and during those 60 minutes it took me to get to Zurich, I'd have Honeymoon on repeat - first the song, later the entire album when it was released. 2015 was an unusually hot summer, so I associate the record with a breeding and sweltering heat. HM was also the first album I have ever bought on vinyl (the red version!). I was so in love with the album photoshoot, I decided I need the huge ass booklet, so naturally, I also had to buy a record player to listen to the album. In the end, Honeymoon was the album that turned me into a true stan. At the time I loved UV but didn't care all that much for BTD or Paradise, so this album was either going to make or break Lana for me. She delivered an immaculate album, and with that, my life truly changed, as cheesy as it sounds. I made many, many amazing friends at Lana's shows which I wouldn't have gone to otherwise. I travelled so many places in Europe I would have otherwise never gone to, and it ignited my passion of travelling as a whole. So many beautiful memories were made during the Honeymoon era, and I look back fondly and with nostalgia on that time. Love you, Lanz
