the rest of my covers are on my soundcloud
god, that was amazing!! your covers always give me chills
it's crazy, because if I heard this without knowing, I'd really think it was lana's concept demo for the song or something

when and where did we get Young Like Me? how do we know it’s called Young Like Me? or is that a fan coined name???
I’m not sur where they came from, but two acoustic EPs leaked in January 2014 titled From The End and Quiet Now. Quiet Now is assumed to be Young Like Me because it contains 7 tracks and leaked with From a The Wnd.
Here's what I could dig up on where Young Like Me came from:
So, as everyone probably is aware of with the number of unleaked unreleased tracks growing smaller and smaller, we still have a handful that have remained significantly elusive. However, sources have unveiled tracklistings of two of the most elusive pre-fame Lana album compositions to date: From the End and Young Like Me/Rock Me Stable EP
Here are the tracklists:
YOUNG LIKE ME/ROCK ME STABLE EP:
FROM THE END EP:
The person who shared the tracklists received the FTE album and YLM/RMS EP from someone who personally worked with Lana. The source of FTE and YLM/RMS tracklistings has been vouched for their reliability, the source having supposedly spoken with Rob in the past as well.
It had also been speculated months ago that tracks from both compositions have already leaked previously.
The source who shared their tracklists with us has the YLM/RMS EP titled "QUIET NOW," and the showcasing of just seven tracks does match the information I received many moons ago of the YLM/RMS EP. Thus, it is my own speculation that QUIET NOW may actually be an alternative name for what we know to be the YLM/RMS EP
It's not specific or definite, but if this is to be believed, the EPs went from the hands of someone who worked with Lana and knew Rob, directly to the leaker.

In a discography where Betty Boop Boop and 24 exist, ICF is great.
imagine not acknowledging Betty Boop Boop as the masterpiece it is smh

I'm so glad he pointed out the lack of excessive reverb on the track -- I think that's been something that's gotten under my skin for a while with Lana's music, but I couldn't pinpoint what was irking me until he mentioned it.So even Fontano thinks this new song is quite good.
(And he's usually not a Lana supporter.)
And, as much as I love Rick Nowels, I'm really refreshed to hear a new Lana song produced by someone else. Things were getting a little stagnant
Anyway, she better work with Mertens again in the future, or I riot

Sorry for bumping up, but has anyone here seen them live? They’re coming back home to Stockholm next year for a tour stop, tickets go on sale in a few days, and I guess I’m just curious. I haven’t played any of their albums in full (simply because I’m lazy I guess) but a lot of what I’ve heard sounds fantastic. And if they made Patti Smith cry, I guess they can’t be that bad live...
And I guess it also depends on what the ticket prices will be. They’re quite popular here so maybe the tickets will sell out fast...
They're amazing live! I saw them in the summer with a couple friends, and they definitely know how to put on a good show -- the energy was unbelievable, and they sounded like total angels. So sweet to the audience, too

i think that made it a really good first step, though. like, sure it's a tad formulaic and cliche, but i think that makes it familiar and palatable enough to warm mainstream audiences up to the idea of lgbt romcoms and suchOk so I feel like we do need casual comedy lgbt movies BUT at the same time this had so many clichés and simplifications I it almost seemed unbearable at some points
It was very cute anyway
and for the record, i still ate it up and absolutely loved it lmaooooooo

Pick Some Desserts And We'll Tell You Which Lana Del Rey Album You Are
I got Lust For Life! ♥
Honeymoon
Pretty accurate. O___o
“A war: Your thoughts are always conflicting with each other and it’s can be really hard for you to get out of a negative mindset. You might struggle with doing the right thing or just giving up, being the better person or getting revenge / the last word. But you also have a strong need for freedom, and you just really wish you could let go of all the things that worry you.”
