Excited for the album but on the other hand I've already heard 70% of it but curious how some of the leaks will sound on the final version, or in HQ.

Bet she's gonna be back on socials a short while before release date to maximize impact. But that's just me making sense of this weird situation of someone disappearing from social media in the height of an album cycle.

I hope she understands that no matter how the critics scrutinize her, her most vulnerable songs have helped me and many of us through hard times. So even though she thinks that the industry doesn't appreciate women who "look like her", we do. And as long as she channels that vulnerability in her art, she'll have the people who relate to her behind her. And the people who relate to her probably aren't the darlings of the world (aka the most popular people). So why does she want to be the critic's darling? I would have stopped trying to fit in that world a long time ago.

No. I'm sorry I wish she had a good reason too and all. But if it was coronavirus, she could have been up front about it. Better to take safety regulations, bla bla. That's fine. And it wouldn't be canceled everywhere. Corona wasn't even that widespread in Europe back then. There were no confirmed cases in The Netherlands when she was expected in Amsterdam. I can't believe after she canceled, all the fans were so worried about her health (which is nice of course), and she just really doesn't give a fuck about any of us.

That's why I have a feeling the problem is more psychological than physical. If she has throat problems she can still be on the 'Gram and just take it easy. If she's in psychological distress it might be too much for her to let us know. But hey I'm trying to make excuses for some reason. It's so much easier to sympathize when you know what's up. As if we wouldn't be understanding, whatever it is.

Might sound radical but I'm not gonna ever pay to see her live again. Maybe that's just pessimistic now and it'll change.. but I've seen her live once. This was pretty annoying to hear one day in advance and the lack of a statement from her. I just don't wanna be let down by my favorite artist, and be disappointed in how she's handled it again.

Meh I was on my way to a pretty heavy appointment when I got the news I was gonna see her in Amsterdam.. so this kinda really takes away some light in this week. But if she’s sick, she’s sick I guess I already had a gut feeling things weren’t going as planned but maybe because she hadn’t officially started anything it was hard to feel like she was actually gonna be there in 2 days

This was not unexpected, as the album is definitely more than deserving of a Grammy. Though it's still a question of whether she'll win, but a nomination is already amazing in itself.
