Well, gaga didn’t write it Iirc it was a writers demo that gaga recorded (and she might’ve changed a few lines, which would’ve given her a writing credit if she would’ve released it). there’s a few lines between her version and addisons that are different - which i’m guessing are the lines changed to give addison writing credit as well! also in regards to the dated comment - pretty sure the whole vibe of the ep is supposed to be sorta early 2000s britney!

righttt like 😭 also? its always nice when an artist writes their own songs, but if they want to have someone else write them a hit every now and then? why not?! it’s probably a little fun for them, it doesn’t take away from the art just because they didn’t write it reminds me of charli, known for writing her own music & also writing for other people, but sometimes she’ll simply take a writers demo, record it herself, and release it because… it’s fun! it’s nice to get a take that’s not your own - that’s what she did with Good Ones. doesn’t make her any less of an artist caring that much about who’s writing the music/if artists are writing alone or co-writing just feels so pretentious… like unstanning if she got a big name to write her a hit? 😭 let’s not be dramatic mamas

tbh have to disagree lowkey nothing on but the radio is suchhhhh a bubblegum pop anthem and addison has exactly the bubblegum pop voice needed for it i love gaga but her voice doesn’t really suit the song imo and that’s probably why it never got released

okay i retract my former statement i think the initial snippets i heard were slightly sped up because now they sound fine i got it bads og production was better tho <\3 however! they definitely fixed the outro, sounds much better
