Honestly, I’d prefer lana work in a few leaked tracks onto mostly new albums rather than just releasing one album with all leaked tracks She has such a diverse unreleased catalog that I feel like a completely unreleased/leaked album would be a incohesive mess - this way she can fit one or two in where they work best

Who Cares. it’s an Album. It’s Music. Lana has a huge discography and an even larger unreleased catalog. listen to that. or listen to some of the other incredible albums/artists out there! I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again! An album not coming out isnt the end of the world. and it’s not that deep.

I don’t really feel like this is a valid comparison lol - movies are delayed all the time - also orchestras rely on a live audience, so yeah they wouldn’t do that. it’s actually not too surprising. as a few others already said, it’s mainly due to vinyls. artists like her and lana etc rely a ton on physical sales, and because of the new billboard rule, preorders don’t count until they’re actually shipped. I’m sure the week vinyls actually ship the album will probably reach a new peak (although not as high as previous records, obviously). It’s just a lot to do with poor planning honestly

I find it so odd that quite a few times Marina has asked for female artists/collaborators/etc (I know one was just for the mans world video but whatever) yet when all these great female artists say how much they’d love to collab.. she seems to.. not care? Of course Idk what goes on behind the scenes, but with some of these girls (allie, banks, rina, etc) they continually are like “yes i’d love to work with her!!!” - and I feel like if marina reached out/responded they’d eventually stop commenting stuff like that and actually do it but.. nope.. here they are.. still commenting away

This is nice and I agree, this place would be much better if people could just be positive sometimes, but I don’t think some of the users on this site are capable of being anything but negative it’s unbearable .
