I haven’t watched the trailer yet (I was strolling around in Kyoto and Tokyo and just prioritized other things lol) and now I’m kinda like… maybe I don’t want to watch it? It’ll be fun to play it without knowing much…! But I’ll have to block keywords on social media again to avoid spoilers, since I won’t get it on release day.

the new zelda is out girlies!!! what do you think? i just finished the first dungeon and trying to get to my second currently but i'm fucking living for it, i love it so far. it's kinda jarring because the bottom of the screen has a weird blur effect?

Would you recommend it? I kinda wanted to buy it but the price is holding me back. I’m not that much into the Zelda lore but I loved playing BOTW and TOTK

I haven’t played it but everyone I know seems to love it. Don’t expect it to be like BotW or TotK though, I think this game is quite different (aside from being creative with the echo power).

It's very different than BOTW and TOTK. I'm having a lot of fun with the puzzles and dungeons, though, so I think it's worth it. If you like games that are more puzzle-centric and encourages you to think about your powers in the game and how you can use them to your advantage, you'd like this one. It's closer to a 2D TOTK due to the magic being used to conjure items and move things around but it isn't TOTK. Idk how to explain it better lol

 

If you're interested in lore though, some big lore stuff does happen, but it isn't necessary to know everything about Zelda to play this one. Most Zelda games are like that, you should be fine just jumping in knowing what you already know. Like personally idk where this game fits into the timeline(s) at all and I'm good not knowing lol i'd recommend watching some spoiler free YouTube videos before buying if you're still on the fence

I did watch some gameplay on YouTube and I loved the puzzles, I’m probably gonna buy it then, not now maybe but definitely in the future
