It's interesting and one of her best lines because she then describes the scene as a dark night, which then inverts the typical saying of "there's a light at the end of the tunnel". this lyric could be interpreted by her saying on the outside he seems dark and mysterious but she sees the light in him, even if it's just a metaphorical tunnel. it could also be interpreted as her view of the world, that the world is dark but this small glimmer of light in this tunnel that inevitably ends, which could be referring to a relationship or the guy she's singing about. there's more ideas i could come up with about this lyric, but just two of my thoughts

I was mid writing "i have no idea what she meant by heaven being a tunnel lined with yellow lights" and it got me, driving through a tunnel lined with yellow lights is like heaven, such a cool feeling, she was smart for that, and if this isnt the meaning, i dont know what is, this is my interpretation

But in all seriousness, this is gonna be a fight for Kamala and anyone who doesn’t want Trump in office again. She’s not guaranteed a win at all, and that is hugely important to remember. There’s no room for complacency amongst her, her staff, or Americans who don’t think a wanna-be dictator with nothing left to lose makes a stellar US President. 
 
In a way, my feeling ATM is that a Harris presidency is almost “too good to be true”

additionally, if she does win, I think it’s proof that we no longer need to worry about how much candidates appeal to older, non-college-educated white men. Basically everything both parties have done since 2016 is appeal to that base in specific (and rightfully so, that base is what cost Clinton the election, and what helped Biden win back the Rust Belt). 
 
But, if Harris can offset the loss of that group by gains in college-educated white women, 18-35 age groups, and POCs, then we can stop worrying about appealing to that base - and hopefully they can slink off into oblivion.

he needs to resign and let Kamala prove to the American people and the world that she can be the president and has the fire in her to do what he couldn't.

i just want someone who remembers watching the little mermaid as a kid to run. i mean... someone who's old enough to be here in 10 years to see what they did through or watch their legacy flop like katy perry's next album. we can't keep having old turds running constantly 

It's really not as bad as it might seem. This was necessary to give us a chance to keep the country away from Trump. Biden was never going to win. 

I choose AOC for VP and if not her can we just have Rupaul? at least he knows fashion and could give a little arts and crafts to politics
