I LOVE "The Archer" and the production is perfect af, but I think that's mainly because of Alexandra Savior's artistic vision.
Looking at what San Cohen produced before, it's not like that "The Archer" is "his" signature style of production. Alexandra's first album was produced by Alex Turner and people were giving all the credits to him. But at least since "The Archer" it's pretty obvious that it's Alexandra who's responsible for the soundscapes she's creating.

Talking about her, I think that a Lana-album produced b Zach Dawes would be a lot like Belladonna Of Sadness

Okay my predictions for ldr 8&9

8 will be her covers album serve, i feel like she would bring a different energy to some real classics

9 will be her rock/alt/pop album titled The Revenge of Lana Del Rey and it will be her ultimate serve

I feel like 8 will come soon tho if thats true like i always wondered what happened with the covers project

To be honest I would love it if she worked with Zach Dawes on the new album , it would be very intriguing to hear the final result of their work together. Isn't it possible  that they might actually work together on the new album after doing summertime together?

Do you think 8 and 9 are her folk cover album and country cover album? I’m all for a covers album of various genres, but I would definitely look forward to original work more and I’m not sure how I would feel if I had to wait for Ldr10 to hear new music if that makes sense.

Even if they are I don’t think they will really mess up the timeline of her actual full length studio albums

 

they would definitely be lowkey releases with limited amounts of copies and stuff

 

but I highly doubt any of this stuff gets released

I was under the impression one would be the covers album, one would be an album of new material (which is why she said inspired by the last 18 months, COCC was pretty much fully written by the start of 2020 if I'm not mistaken). But maybe I'm just projecting, lol.

Ah I see. I hope this is right. I’m just reflecting to that trauma bbc interview when she mentioned not having songs/material for another album yet. That was awhile ago so maybe she has something now.

i’m very confused on how she went from not even having 4 tracks for the next album to 2 albums in the works lol

I don’t know. It’s confusing. I mean I know people hate when this gets brought up, but I really thought she would take a break because she’s been working so hard for so long and she always says she’s writing about things she’s going to do. Like in chemtrails- the normality and settling down. So I really thought she would chill for awhile and  maybe start a family or get married if she’s engaged? but it seems like she just wants to keep working. I guess if working on music keeps her happy then that’s all that matters.

The name "The revenge of Lana Del Ley" is too good not to be used. She could use it as a title of a compilation with outtakes or greatest hits to celebrate idk, 20 years of BTD lol.

This is Lana, though. She's.... laughably inconsistent with what she says a lot of the time.  The girl's a machine. And I have no doubt she's been... inspired... by recent events.

I think that's why I was so shocked when I heard COCC. I didn't notice any of the themes she said she'd be exploring in Question for the Culture. It's not an angry album at all. So it kind of sucks that she's been doing everything she can to sabotage this one when it's so beautiful.
