I've been trying so hard not to overplay this album like I did when it first came out, and let me tell you, it's been a struggle. It's not my favorite lana album, but something about it is just so beautiful to me. Each song feels like I've known it for years; it's a very comforting album

I finally got to comparing the album covers and I really have to say that I prefer the original album cover art as a sleeve. 
krug’s is really pretty too but something about the polaroid-esque quality doesn’t look as good as it does on the krug picture disc.

I really like how its not like anything she has done before. These have been her most recognizable "summer" songs to me and Ive really enjoyed them. Sure, its fun to

 

listen to honeymoon or BTD/UV but they are more of a fantasy. This feels real and cozy. Visiting national parks, staying in cabins, small towns. I guess it just feels

 

more familiar to me than NY or LA (I live in Wa state). I feel like this album understands I just wanna have a good time
