I just learned that there is a Best American Roots category with this thread, the more you know  anyway lana is really flopping with the grammys this year i don't even think she'll score a nomination this time

Expections are low this year, so no matter where she's nominated, she can only win.

I think Lana probably gave up on the Grammy's after NFR.

If she does submit, I could see the COCC music video having a chance, maybe?

This is the case but also COCC was listed as a Pop release on iTunes, which is entirely decided by the label so maybe they did this one on purpose?

The Academy is just making up categories at this point.

I honestly don't expect anything from the Grammys at this point, so I think I'd be more shocked if she was nominated rather than if she wasn't. If what I've read online is right, this is what she submitted in:

 

Record of the Year

Song of the Year

Album of the Year

Best Music Video

Pop Solo Performance

Pop Vocal Album

Engineered Album (Non-Classical)

 

Although I didn't see what any of those were for, we can assume that AOTY, PVA BMV and EA are for Chemtrails. I'd say ROTY and SOTY are for Chemtrails (the song), but they could also be for White Dress.
