It will never happen  As big an artist as she is, she could never release something like Smarty or Mermaid Motel in 2024 to the 60+ million listeners she has. The general public would think it’s shit and people would make tiktoks calling it mid with comments getting 50k+ likes saying Lana fell off even though the album is from 2010

but smarty has literally gone viral on tiktok, maybe the other songs like mermaid motel would get that kind of reception, but songs like smarty, put me in a movie, queen of the gas station, and other AKA songs would have the same reception as say yes to heaven
