I always love what Lana does tbh. I will love this album but it is just a matter of how much will I listen to it after a few months.

I'm glad to hear that. I generally acknowledge my own intuition and not get my hopes up too much. Generally, I also like 80% or more of her releases.

while Blue Banisters is my least favorite album of Lana’s music-wise, it’s without a doubt her best lyrically; the songs read like poetry

makes me very excited for the writing on this album (and also very sad about Behind the Iron Gates)

UGH whenever i think about behind the iron gates i get so upset  i love violet and i love poetry in general. i really thought her new collection would be coming soon but now we have no idea when it’s going to be finished. there’s also so many poems that are lost forever…

Benji Lysaght! he’s played guitar on California, Thunder, and Black Bathing Suit, and then did some of the synths/sound effects on the Ocean Blvd title track, but I couldn’t find a producer credit for him anywhere so it looks like this will be his first time producing

I think a lot of people may be disappointed if expectations are too high, regardless of what BOZ and HMs have said. I hope for the best, but since I don't care for the single, I'm staying cautious.
