People who write lyrics write them so we listen to them and yes analyze them. Artists want to be read and want their lyrics thought about. I agree with that. It's interesting, though, because he doesn't seem like the obvious boyfriend choice for her. Waiting for her in front of the theater after the Ride premiere, there was this very "Hollywood" guy parked across the street in a sleek little white sportscar, bouncy hair and designer clothes and talking on his phone. The street was completely empty except for him and some girls around me started speculating that it was her boyfriend. It just seemed natural.
