It has more imagination than you. You have to let yourself be surprised and accept that the result will not be exactly what you initially imagined. For each idea, I often try lots of compositions, maybe 20-30. In each generation, I try to identify the words that I must keep and those that I must change, to gradually get closer to the general idea. Each word has an impact. If I had the choice I would not put some of the things I've seen in my mind in the generators library and that's why ai is throttled. Some things are information hazards.
